Look away if you are squeemish.

Does anyone know if you would get a mucous like discharge if you have Crohn's. I have seen it with CDT. Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Asked someone IRL. Answer is yes and it is likely.

Thanks for looking.

Mucus discharge can be seen in Crohns disease. But it is not specific. If you have mucous discharge you may not have Crohns disease. And if you don´t have mucous discharge you may still suffer from Crohn.

Not me but a friend of a friend- has a family history of Crohns and discharge. He is in denial at present. Will not see thr doc.
Thanks for the reply

Clostridium difficile toxin.

Thank you for the explanation. I´m not sure that the discharge caused by CDT is mucous. The CDT results in formation of pseudomembranes, which among other things consist of fibrin. I suppose it could appear mucous like if discharged.
