Also, as noted in the comments there, it doesn't seem to be very much either, even if it was in the right place. "5 thousand million litres every year" is 0.16 cumecs. In comparison, white water centres such as CIWW and Lee Valley tend to have flow rates around 4-15 cumecs, while the Thames recently broke records by staying over 275 cumecs for over 52 days. 0.16 cumecs might be a lot of water for a factory, but it's absolutely nothing when it comes to rivers.

When it comes to the Somerset levels, the River Parett is one of the main rivers draining the area. The only flow gauge is quite high up, only covering under 5% of its total catchment area. The average flow there is around 10 times higher than the pump in question, and the highest flow was over 1000 time higher. Obviously the flow further downstream will be much higher again.
