OK, I apologise. But let's take this thread for example. What do you think of the OP "cognitive dissonance and the Right"? Since it is a thread you started, you must have some opinion on it?

I personnaly don't think conservatives are more proned to cognitive dissonance than liberals, and I don't trust S. M. Dixon to have any credentials or authority in psychology to make such a diagnosis. I believe it is a blatant politically motiviated article.

Actually, Pardalis we agree 100% - there IS BS from both sides and THAT is what I was trying to prove with the OP. I had the "cognitive dissonant" assertion tossed in my lap by a representative of the rabid Right because he "suggested" that I was either on drugs or "crazy."

I wanted to show him that the fanatical Right should know everything about cognitive dissonance as they often employ it in their logic about Iraq. :)
 
I wasn't aware of that. Maybe next time put in a notice that the thread is in response to someone's attack.
