There was a case of this reported just yesterday in Hamilton, Ontario. Six kids in the home but only two got that treatment.

HAMILTON, Ont. - The basement of a home where two boys were found living in squalor was a "disturbing" scene that reeked so badly of urine and feces that officers had a difficult time breathing and even seeing, Hamilton police said Thursday.

The 35-year-old father, 27-year-old mother and 60-year-old grandmother of the two boys, aged two and five, are facing charges of forcible confinement.

Six children between the ages of two and 13 lived in the home...

That would have been before Skinner's air crib was even invented.

True, but that was also the time period of strange "scientific" parenting advice, like the strict feeding schedules and don't hug too much.

Right. I was just pointing out that there's no way those ideas were the result of Skinner. I don't think he ever even did any child development research or espoused any parenting ideas at all, actually. He just invented the air crib.
