Merged Chick Tracts

If Jack Chick hadn't taken to his current occupation he could easily have got a job drawing caricatures of Jews for Nazi propaganda leaflets.

Okay, so I'm an Arab right, (not really but let's just say). You come to me and say, "You have to leave my land because this god guy says so." You'd see how I'd be a bit skeptical right? I mean it would impress me if this god guy told the Arabs this.

It is all crazy - even by Jack Chick's standards of crazy.

I like Israel signing a peace treaty with the Vatican and the Vatican grabbing control. I can just see all of those Swiss Guard soldiers sweeping the Israeli army away.

I love how he claims that Arab neighbors forced them to leave and that the Israeli's begged them to stay. What planet does this guy live on?

God gave the Jews their own nation in 1948? I could have sworn I read that the UN had something to do with it. I guess I was wrong.

Actually, I hope you realize that the resulting state of Israel included not just what the UN gave to the Jewish state but also the zone that was supposed to be the Palestinian state. As the war progressed the focus kinda shifted from defending what was given to them to plain old conquest.

(Also, oh, as more Israel documents from that age got declassified, it turns out that a lot of the standard history we learned about it was fabricated BS. In the context of Chick's strip, for example the part where the Arabs fled their homes of their own free will.)

And then come the occupied territories, including the West Bank, Sinai Peninsula, Gaza Strip and the Golan Heights, which go even beyond those delineated in the 1949 Armistice Agreements. And such stuff as, you know, deciding that the Geneva Convention doesn't apply to those.

Behind both I think you'll find the idea of having some kind of sacred right to that land, no matter what the UN says. And, mind you, normally I use "X thinks he has some kind of sacred right to (do) Y" as sarcasm, as a completely unfounded entitlement delusion. Here it turns out that some idiots do think that an invisible sky daddy actually did give them an entitlement to drive the existing inhabitants out and own that land.

Those Isrealis are such nice guys. Too bad they're all going straight to Hell.

I like how Israel and the vatican will sign a peace treaty. I didn't know the two nations were at war. Or that the vatican has any army to speak of really.

I do wish he'd spend at least SOME time reading a history book before writing his stuff.
One of his other anti islam tracts claims the jesuits were responsible for creating islam, never mind that the jesuits were formed several centuries after islam was formed.

As in, very nearly a millennium after the Islam. As in, really, fell short of the whole millennium by only half a century or so.

But you know how devious those Jesuits are. They made a time machine and went back to create the Islam ;)

Of course I know the whole story but I had to simplify for the joke. :)

"We're gonna rock, rock, rock, rock with the rock"?

Yeah, that's what all the kids are listening to.
