Chemtrails

No, you are not the only one, Odd.

This is going to fizzle fairly quickly, as conspiracy theories go. It's just not that interesting. Contrail schmontrail. How long can stripes in the sky hold people's interest?

I have a feeling someone, somewhere said the same thing about quirky shadows from the moon landing footage.

I don't get it. People see a vapor trail and go "Evil chemicals in our atmosphere!"

What are you kidding? It’s been going on for a long time now. Seems like I first heard about this like ten years ago too. I remember seeing Carnicom’s page back in 1998 or so.

True story, a relative of mine works for the FAA as an accident investigator. I asked him if he’s ever heard of chemtrails and he admitted that he’d never heard of them. When I described what people are saying he just laughed. Said that’s the most silly stuff he’d ever heard.

...And ghosts, and UFOs and witches, demons, bigfoots, chupa-whatnots, MIBs, grays, elves, wizards, rods, and orbs.

What’s really in short supply is skeptics.

When I say it's going to fizzle out, I don't mean we'll never hear about it again. I mean only nutbars like Carnicom will beat the dead horse. The average paranormal aficionado won't care anymore.

UFOs and ghosts are different, because there is a wide variety of types of events. Heck, even crop circles get more interesting as time passes. No such variety with chemtrails. UFOs are finally becoming boring after 55 years. Ten years is nothing.

The chemmies actually got rep Dennis Kucinich to put chemtrails in a bill that banned them, giving them legitimacy in the eyes of the ICP.

Chemmies have over the years:

Advocated shooting at/down chemplanes.
Advocated blinding chemplane pilots.
Advocated chasing chemplanes with bizjets, & attempted to hire folks to do it.
Advocated sabotaging chemplanes' "spray gear".

I wish I were making this up.

One more:

Advocated a plan to bring down the "black helicopters" with balloons or kites and wire.

Why the hell don't they hire someone to fly a plane through the contrails and take samples? With controls, of course. Wouldn't that be the first thing to do?

I love that Kucinich banned something he didn't even have proof for.

If you want to see complete paranoia and an unshakeable conviction that the clouds are out to get us, you could try the Chemtrail Central forum. I have a feeling that there aren't a lot of skeptics there...

But what in the name of all that is Edly does that have to do with chemtrails?

Whackjob level much higher than I thought.

From the home dentistry page:

Fibrous material of mass is slightly visible.
Direction of fiber orientation is generally radial. Wet slide.
Primary fibers appear to be on the order of 5-10 microns in thickness.
Central mass also appears to be fibrous in nature, but density makes observation difficult.
Magnification 200x.

He keeps using the word "fibrous", but never explains what it means. He just took a bunch of microphotographs of crap he dug out of his mouth, used the word "fibrous" 6,345 times, and attributed it all to planes spraying chemicals onto his house from 40,000 feet.

Perfectly normal, perfectly healthy.

Under normal dentistry conditions, it is thought that these events would likely be undetected and unrecorded.

But lucky for you, you took the Time-Life Home Dentistry course.

Under normal dentistry conditions, you wouldn't be hacking at your gums with a butter knife and removing things that should be looked at by a medical professional!

Used to post there a little, but got banned. I still maintain a sock, but it is not worth the trouble to post since they go right into full metal jacket mode if you as much as hint at doubting their nonsense.

Yeah, don't we just love the sound of people talking to themselves :nope:.

Weeh! Seems I'm approacing 6k posts, heheh.

Hans

Not for you, Hans, specifically but at what altitude do these things form? What kind of density at the ground of the solute would follow? It always seemed to me that the efficiency of these things as a delivery mechanism was the weakest part of the conspiracy.

One of the simplist questions you could ask these Chemtrailers is, "Where's the equipment on the aircraft?" The mechanics that work on these aircraft are average everyday people, who aren't getting paid to keep a national secret. Take me to an airport where you think a Chem plane is flying from, give me 15 minutes to talk to the maintenance crew, and I'll get you a guided tour of any plane, in any building, on the airport. Show me the gas tanks, nut.
