Cell Towers

Maybe there's a market for a sun-tan lotion offshoot? Remember kids, wear your SPF 1/2 Cell-Block at all times, or the evil phone company will slowly cook you alive.

Somebody kind of beat you to it.

Good idea though - keep 'em coming. One day you'll have one good enough to steal.

I don't know the details, but I don't like the fact that these tiny phones can audibly affect hi-fi systems from several metres away and produce visual glitches on monitors when placed close up.

A phone has to put out enough of an electromagnetic signal, that the base station (perhaps as much as a few miles away) can pick it up, and get enough signal to reliably distinguish ones from zeros.

So of course, if you have sensitive measuring equipment, you will be easily able to observe it much closer than that. Hi-fi systems (at least tape players) and monitors are sensitive to electromagnetic waves. Flesh is not.

I thought it was funny that people were so worried about cell phones frying their brains. I always wonder how it would manage to do that without making thier ears into toast first.
