You're looking in the wrong place, silly. Look in the last few pages of your history textbook Lord of the Rings.
 
A couple of ministers were on CNN this evening. These kind of outright lies from the book were mentioned:

1: That Jesus might have been a man instead of a supernatural diety.

2: That some bible stories might have been made up 400 years later.

And well, that about did it.
What a waste of airtime.
 
I don't think he comes from one of those sects that believe the Bible to be literally true, so it's not quite as ironic as it looks.
 
That's true, C4ts, but it's still ironic. If he were concerned about the truth, he could spend his time attacking:

1) those people who consider the Bible to be literally true, and
2) those people who consider The da Vinci Code to be literally true.

I bet more people fall into category 1.

Yes, these objections seem kind of silly. However, if it had read something like

...the cardinal would actually have a point, and I'd be forced to agree with him.
 
Nothing will send the book back up the best-seller ranks like papal condemnation.

Naturally, there's a movie planned as well.
