If I could ask someone to please bring me any of the following in their bags, that would be most appreciated.

Polo Mints
Jaffa Cakes

Musk-flavoured Life Savers (mainly because I don't believe that they exist, but I love flower flavoured candies)
Vegemite (in a tube!)

I'll reimburse you for any expense you might incur as a result. These items tend to be difficult to find in Vancouver, or incredibly expensive.

Here's where I purchase my Marmite. Just in case you can't find what you need at TAM.

Any Brits who bring me Cadbury's Dairy Milk will be extremely in my favor (for whatever that's worth) :)

The Aussies can do that too you know, we even make the stuff here.

I'd bring you some, but I'm not going. Maybe in a year or two.

Yeah, I'm freaky-picky about my dairy milk, though. They make it in the States too and it sucks. I haven't tried the Aussie version - it's probably good. I KNOW the Brit version is, in my humble opinion, the best milk chocolate you can get...

I can't help as I am not going to TAM, but I am surprised to hear you cannot get Jaffa cakes where you are (I forgot if you were from the US or Canada)...I always thought they were universally available, as we even had them in communist Yugoslavia when I was growing up...

I should be able to sort that for you, ill try and remember the jaffa cakes too if they sell them at the airport.

If any Brits could bring the Crown Jewels, that would be great too, as they are difficult to obtain here in the States.

Is the imported stuff different? I've seen that in many stores in the states.

If it says it is made in the UK, it's usually good. Around here, it's hard to find and pretty expensive though.

Karl, you are a gentleman and a scholar. I will owe you a drink...

I'll be bringing TimTams,Caramello Koalas, Jaffas, minties and Twisties to the party Sat. night.
(and BA, see me for your minties too)

I have digestives for Remie and Victory V's for Terry, and no chance of fitting anything else in!

Is "Vegemite" the same stuff as "Marmite" (concentrated evil in a jar)?

Vegemite is way better than Marmite.

I'm going to be feeding my pony her last Polo Mint today.

Tanya - sometimes the import stores get Jaffa Cakes, but not often, because they get held up in customs, and then are past the expiration date, so they can't sell them.

Braaiiinnnssss!

I'm ressurecting this thread from last year to ask if anyone would like anything brought to TAM from England. I am willing to bring some chocolate and biscuits and stuff if anyone would like to make any requests :)

I like this thread. My wife would really dig some TimTams if anybody is willing to bring some :)
