'Despicable, slanderous and FALSE': Bodycam video reveals woman lied about being raped by cop who pulled her over for DUI - and even her LAWYER now apologizes for 'any trouble these claims may have caused'

Daily Mail said:
A woman in Texas made a startling claim earlier this week accusing a state trooper of raping her during a DWI arrest, but a newly released body camera footage has exposed her claims as lies and prompted her high-profile lawyer to issue a public apology.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said in a statement on Tuesday that just after 1.30am on Sunday, Texas highway Patrol Trooper Daniel Hubbard saw a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu traveling south on Interstate 35 in Ellis County and pulled the vehicle over for a traffic violation.

During the traffic stop, Hubbard arrested the driver, identified as 37-year-old Sherita Dixon-Cole, of Grapevine, on a charge of driving while intoxicated and took her to the Ellis County Jail.

Civil rights lawyer Lee Merritt representing Dixon-Cole said on Monday that the trooper offered to let her go during a field sobriety test in exchange for sexual favors.

After the women declined Hubbard’s advances, he groped her and forced something into her vagina, Merritt claimed.

The lawyer called the arrest ‘prolonged' and said the assault took place inside and outside the police vehicle...

...DPS officials reviewed body camera footage from the traffic stop and concluded that the video ‘shows absolutely no evidence to support the egregious and unsubstantiated accusations’ against Trooper Hubbard.

‘The Department is appalled that anyone would make such a despicable, slanderous and false accusation against a peace officer who willingly risks his life every day to protect and serve the public,’ the agency’s statement read....

Seems to obviously be racism. But we can't be sure.

Getting kind of tiresome, these "hilarious" threads designed to minimalize the experiences of minorities.

But keep going. Shows what kind of person you are.

I hope the woman is prosecuted, not just because of wasting police time, but because false allegations of rape make the real cases more difficult to prosecute.

Not sure why race is an issue. Stupid woman lies about officer's conduct (for some reason) - obviously didn't realise that the body cam was recording.

She messed up big time. Is it possible that she could be prosecuted for false accusations or something?

When I see stories like this I occasionally check in with Saun King to see if he is still his normal bigoted prejudiced racist lying ******* that he has always been.

Hey, imagine my surprise, he still is?

Let me say a few quick things. My default position is going to always be to believe black women when they report what has happened to them. I believe Sherita.

What a piece of ****.

By "experience" do you mean completely fabricating a lie about a Texas Highway Patrolman sexually assaulting her and then arresting her under false pretenses? Then contacting a race-hustling attorney and allowing her story to spread throughout the national media and malign this specific trooper and furthering the narrative that cops are racist. Those kind of experiences?

That deserves two laughing dogs:

Here is a link that you need to read.

Yeah, the big problem was...a false accusation, cleared up almost immediately by evidence that many police unions fight to never have, a sincere apology from activists.

Yes, that's far worse than being tortured, having your neighborhood attacked by cops, being shot by some domestic abuser/wannabe vigilante, having evidence planted on your property or person, having police jump around a corner or drive up and shoot you on sight...and on and on...

I think I know which one is much easier here.

Or should I play the same role as the people who downplay the most obvious forms of racism?

"Hey man, that video isn't proof! It was obviously doctored! They only released the footage they know puts them in a good light! That cop once smoked weed, he was a superpowered thug! There's a picture of him holding up a finger, or two fingers! Those are known gang signs! You don't know what's truly in that woman's heart, so how can you say she's lying!?"

Huh. Still stupid and bigoted, even when aimed at police.

I was told to always "believe the victim", but the problem is you don't know who the victim is without evidence.

Yea the horrors of being a cop, you can't even rape rape victims of other cops with total immunity anymore!!!

When will these officers finally get the total immunity from the law they deserve!

I'm not sure why you provided that link, but it says nothing about the victim's race.

Anyhow, why do you shift the conversation to "minorities" when the topic of the thread is Dixon-Cole and not some random person in Kentucky that may or may not be a minority? Don't answer that question, I already know the answer. Your debate style is more transparent than they are worthless to the conversation.

This thread is about white cops and rape, so it fits in nicely.

Kind of like shared trauma then, I see.

Still doesn't change the fact that Dixon-Cole was not a victim and uk2se is making excuses for her behavior because two cops allegedly raped a woman in Kentucky.

Actually, the thread is about being a cop while white so I'll continue.

There's an interesting story from two weeks ago. A black female motorist was driving in Virginia at 15 mph over the speed limit and she was issued a summons. At first she refused to sign the ticket, which means she agrees to take care of it and signing and is not an admission of guilt. She was convinced to do so to avoid arrest and having her car impounded.

Shortly thereafter, she goes on a Facebook live stream and plays the victim, lies about her interaction with the police officer and even pulls the race card.

Here's a choice quote from her video stream:
She went on to show where the traffic stop happened, adding, 'this is where we got lynched. This is where we got lynched, even in today's day.'

As to the bolded part, what a tragedy that she has suffered. Did she contact law enforcement to report this lynching?

Or does she mean that being punished for disobeying traffic laws is the modern lynching?

Hell, I've been" lynched" dozens of times if that's the case. Where's my victim status?

LMAO

Perfect parody of an SJW.

Moreover, I for one don't care.

It's weird how it has become the case that the absolute worst thing anyone can do is be a racist, and therefore the most important thing in any situation is to first determine if racism played a role.

The woman made up an extremely serious false accusation. That is extremely serious. It's a crime, actually, and she ought to be prosecuted. Was she black? I assume so. I haven't seen any pictures, but it doesn't matter. Knowing the skin color of the people involved and whether or not that was a factor in anyone's decision can shed some light on why it occurred, if that can be determined, but the important thing is that this person made a false accusation, gave false testimony to police, slandered an innocent person. All of those things mean that she is bad, quite independent of any skin tone that might be involved.

No it's to show what kind of person YOU all are by posting these stupid articles.

So there!!!

You mean articles hi-lighting the daily experiences of non-whites of racism and systematic oppression? Yes, I'm that kind of guy. Not that I've actually posted any articles.

Who knew speed limits were part of a white supremacist plot to systematically oppress non-whites?

Here's another example of systematic oppression.Link to article and video.

The short of it.

Black NAACP president accuses a cop of racial profiling after he was pulled over because he failed to signal at a turn.

Claimed the police officer asked if there were drugs in the car, among many other things.

Police Department releases video proving everything the man said about the officer's misbehavior was a complete and total lie.

The officer was professional and courteous.

The NAACP president still has not apologized for lying and accusing a cop of racism. In fact, he doubled down with his lies and said there were two officers at the scene and no one is seeing the other officer in the footage.

Jesus, Joseph and Mary, why is this lying race huckster so desperate to be a victim?

It was kind of a relief to find out that the national office of the NAACP admitted the allegations were false. Then they imply the only reason a black man can be pulled over is due to racial profiling.

I guess we can add laws that require people to use their turn indicators as part of the white supremacist plot to systematically oppress non-whites.
