Merged BBC WTC7 Programme

OK, I'm pretty tech challenged. Could someone advise a, uhm, easy and routine way to view the thing, here in New York?

Please don't laugh.
 
What I found unusual is that the BBC didn't show any need to emphasise the sound of real controlled demolitions.
Those large unmissable booms prior to collapse, a signature of controlled demolition, that curiously didn't happen with WTC 7.
 
Then we're onto a bit with NIST and their current working hypothesis. They then go on about WTC5's partial collapse and how that partially failed again solely due to fire.
 
Then we have Mark Roberts' little cameo. Then a quick interview with Richard Clarke knocking back the conspiracy theory saying the Government couldn't organise this or keep it secret. Thats followed by Dylan's petulant little outburst, saying effectively 'well he would say that'. Then a quick interview with some of the Ground Zero nutters with the party line of 'we arent going to try and tell you what happened, we're just asking questions'. One of the loons they show in the background is wearing a 'TV Fakery' t-shirt.

Then cut back to Fireman Papalia (the guy whose name I couldn't remember before) saying how the troofer thing was insulting to the memory of those who died. And finally Nigro saying some people need to be able to tell the difference between facts and fiction.

As for final thoughts, all in all its pretty much similar to the last programme on WTC 1 & 2. It presents alot of the theories up front, then knocks alot of them back but probably not all. It doesn't particularly go after the CT people much (after all anyone could tear the credibility of Gage, Avery and S Jones apart quite easily). Basically if you've spent any time on here you won't learn a whole lot new about WTC7. Then again, that was true of the last programme too.

Ooops! Alex just called me back. Tennis coverage is cutting into the 9/11 discusion, so my services are not required. I must say that everyone at the Beeb with whom I've dealt is so damn friendly that I'm always happy to participate in anything they dream up.
 
I won't be able to see the show until I receive my DVD. Did I get to say anything?

Very short. The last 5 minutes I heard the Live Free Or Die tune come in, gave a brief description about what Hardfire does, and then you guys were on.

All I pretty much remember was (not verbatim)

Mark: It's like a religion ....

Ron: Nothing can falsify their beliefs.

Mark: They will never offer a working hypothesis...

It's sketchy in my mind and I can't quite remember what you both said.
But the footage seemed to be after the WTC7 Show with Arthur, and was pretty brief.

But yes, you did get to speak.

Thanks. They chatted with us for about ten minutes. I was wondering if any of it would make the final cut.
 
Well, it did.

I was hoping you both would have had more airtime, to be honest, but then I guess the BBC did have a lot to go through.
I suppose if they cut down the useless, fact-free Gage time, they could have freed up a good 15 minutes, which would have made for more worthwhile viewing.
 
Yeah. Its annoying there wasn't more Hardfire but they mad to make way for reason and you know... research...

but you came off as a voice of reason for the people to counter the conspiracy movement... soi thats good. Good job (b^.^)b

Oh and they had to address the conspiracy about the BBC knowing about 9/11.

fyi, incase you don't know, they found their footage... it was stored under 2002 not 2001 in the archive. also they found the restraction from Reuters saying that they incorrectly reported that WTC 7 had fallwn when it had not. Even even interviewed the journalist that was in NY at the time; she said he was told things and resonded to them, it was a crazy day.

I liked the it though. It was well done for the most part. Lingered on some things too long, and not enough on that there is a larger debunking movement...
I can say that the Truthers should not come out of it having converted other than those who were already sympathetic and/or generally think the government can do unspeakably evil.

Aside from the hulla dancing to hawaiin music as a pre-Hardfire warmup, they showed nothing else.

Lovely grass skirt BTW Ron, but I must say I was disappointed with Mark and Scheurman's co-ordination.

I'll look into it. The source recording from Windows Media Center is over 1.6GB and I just tried re-encoding to reduced size MP4 and its still over 600MB. Its 12:39am here now and I have to get up for work in a six hours so won't be doing anything else with it until Monday night (UK time) now.
