Howdy all. Here is your winner from July.
"third if our planet was traveling through space at 17,000 miles per hr, we would have no cloud cover, it would blow away."
Fabulous. Here is the trophy.

So now the finalists for August.

1) Check it out! My building is designed so conservatively it can withstand the impact of airplanes that won't exist for thirty years! What in the hell is a "cost benefit analysis?"
THE WORLD TRADE CENTER was built and designed to withstand the impact of a jumbo jet. That includes the Boeing models 747,757,767,777.
****
2) News from the alternate universe where COBOL was outlawed and everything is still done with FLOW-MATIC is not good.
Most if not all theories based on computer models have been debunked.
****
3) I may not know what Dunning-Kruger is, but I am very, very confident it doesn't apply to me unless it is a hot new German supermodel.
Dunning and Kruger would expect that response from you. In fact, I think they would be thrilled.
You guys amaze me...look at 90% of what is here all simply "twoofers dumb twoofers can't be right" and I'm the one suffering from what ever the hell you want to call that?
****
4) It is the conclusion of this report that the previous investigation failed due to improperly cleaned carpets in the office that led to a general state of anarchy.
You cant complete an investigation, without the cleaners. Why you dont understand it?

A cleaner is indirect involved with the investigation. Just like the person who typed the reports on the computer and watched at the spelling and the grammar.

Without those people the investigation would fail
****
5) The non-compromise version included Cthulhu and Cookie Monster DNA as well.
I think a good compromise is for me to say I think we are a mix of ape and reptillian DNA (or maybe otter or dolphin i suppose) and were made in the moon by lizard geneticists. reptillian DNA would make sense as apparently some of them live underwater.
****
6) So while there is certainty that he was born in Africa and that Malcolm X was the real father there is great uncertainty about what year this all happened in.
How much don't we know about Barack Obama as he nears the end of his third year of White House occupation?

Well, he claims today is his 50th birthday.

Yet, incredibly, it is still only an unsubstantiated claim – and, perhaps, more suspect than ever.
****
7) You have to love those plans that are very clever by being deliberately shoddy at the same time.
I get the feeling that the Norway attacks are a very clever fakery. So that they can't get caught. And at the same time deliberately shoddy and amateurish-looking digital video and image editing to make people eventually see that it's fake without being able to legally prosecute anyone for it.

The purpose is to be a part of a larger disclosure plan. Kind of them saying: "Hey look people, mainstream media has been telling you huge lies. You are not children any longer. You don't have to believe in the Santa Claus version of reality. It's time for you to be told the truth. Because the direction of lies leads to a crippled and hampered society and it needs to be improved. We are therefore now steering this Titanic society away from the impending iceberg."
****
8) I don't think speaking these words in any language would ever make them clear. Sort of like if I wrote the spoken about the chair being called a "chair" but not correcting it later the before time that never happened but did.
Even if I spoke those words I wrote the meaning would be clear. For example if I were in a conversation about Joe Biden..and said President Biden, instead of President Biden..and not correct it, not a big deal.
****
9) So when you hire a demolition company to use a computer to determine how to use gravity to collapse your building they are actually just upping their levels on WOW?
If that were true there would be no need for the extensive expensive preparation for the current controlled demolition methodology.

All that would be necessary would be program a computer model and determine the damage necessary to instigate a gravity collapse.
****
10) I hate when someone gives me the documents I asked for but gives them to me encased in a chest of adamantium.
First of all BPAT did not get access, the documents were given to them.
****
11) At some point you would think this person would have at least accidentally encountered reality and observed how light actually works.
"The Moon's surface is bright enough to light my garden, it acts in backlighting objects in shadow. The shadows on the 'lit' astronaut are cast vertically, indicating the light source came from below."

That is got to be the funniest statement yet.

Unless the surface is made of glass or is a giant mirror it won't reflect ****.

A shadow cast would still make everything black no matter what color the surface is.
****
12) Or it means that Obama is both a Muslim and an Imam. A double secret one.
One thing you have to know about OBL. By Islamic law, one can only be buried on land. You can bury a Muslim at sea, but only with the permission of an Imam. That means Barack Obama isn't really a Muslim.
****
13) But did they also get the Flew? Or maybe Staff A La Circus? Would they remember it if they had OldzTimer Disease?
I remember hearing Alex Jones talking about how Hospitals often target the elderly who go in for treatment and then it struck me how ALMSOT EVERY ELDERLY PAITENT THAT GOES IN ENDS UP WITH NAMONYA!! (No matter what they go in for)
****
14) My FOIA requests for the millions of videos of jetliners slamming into skyscrapers keep coming back with lolcats attachments.
There's been millions of commercial flights in history right? As far as I could find these were the only two that exhibited anything like that.
****
15) Seriously. And they were totally saying that this organization called Cobra Command has like all these horrible plans for us too.
Gee, the US media keeps telling me we need space based nukes for asteroids that want to hit our Earth or aliens that want to invade! Screw treaties for national defense, right?!
Please provide a link to the US media claiming we need "space based nukes" to defend us against aliens or asteroids.
Umm... really? You dont watch disaster movies?
****
16) Logic???? Pffft, my substitute of non-linear free association flash speculation is so much cooler.
Occam Razor?? Pffft, that theory is why people are retarded in today's society.
****
17) High tech mirrors that you can lock people out of with passwords certainly sounds cool. It would really help with rehabilitating serious narcissists. Lamentably my requests to NASA for their design resulted in more lolcats and a box of poop.
So abaddon, can you show me they were bouncing photons off the Apollo 11 LRRR way back in 1969, 1970, and so on? I doubt it. I believe we will find this to not be the case. It is researchable. we will find restricted access in those days and that will mean, military use and Apollo fraud to plant them there. We shall see. It will be interesting. Again , the point is, if Wampler is correct, there is zero chance we would put a passive device up there. So Apollo authenticity is utterly dependent on Wampler being wrong about the military applications of LRRR ranging. If Wampler is correct, WE MUST FIND THE LRRR TO NOT BE PASSIVE. ITS ACCESS WILL HAVE BEEN RESTRICTED.

18) In the alternate universe this describes forces cannot be transferred via mechanics which must really suck. Especially since they also have indestructible steel.
Gravity works straight down. If gravity were the cause of the destruction, you'd have a pile of debris centered in the footprints. Instead, most of the debris fell outside the footprints. Since gravity doesn't work sideways, a full explanation cannot use gravity alone as a mechanism.

Gravity doesn't explain why the tops of the buildings didn't fall
relatively intact on the ground. There was nothing above the
top floors to crush them, after all, and if you drop a steel cage
from a very tall height, you end up with a steel cage. Nothing
about falling can turn steel into tiny pieces of steel.
****
19) Is the "crazy" also being applied to your probability calculations?
Listen I've made it very clear, right from the first post that it seems crazy. In fact I've said I'm 50/50 on it.
****
20) Unfortunately open source health care leads to numerous medical studies that read in total as: "turd face" or link to Rick Astley videos.
Because most good sites on the net let people comment on their articles and also 'Like' or tweet them. His site's articles have hundreds of thousands of Facebook Likes and tweets and hundreds of positive comments from the general public on each article praising him, giving him positive feedback from their own experiences too and improving his own knowledge along the way, everyone helps each other, and everyone benefits.
It's almost like an Open Source Health website, very comparable to how the Open Source software initiative works.
So there they are folks. Vote for your fav's then go vote for me (yes I am that desperate).

Oooh, the early leader is not one I would have suspected.

I think #19 is a classic because it encapsulates so much that's fatally flawed in conspiracist thinking, and yet was delivered with such a total absence of self-awareness.

Oh, I don't know. I really like #16 myself.

If you're looking for that, how can you ignore #9?

Or number 10?!?!?!?! This is a fine group we have this month. 19 is great in it's simplicity! But, I give it a 50/50 chance of being the winner.....

I liked #1 since it obviously is predicated on what has happened and the aircraft that were introduced after the WTC was designed. Nominally, by the criteria expoused, the buildings should have been able to withstand a 787, and 797. How about a Kingon Bird of Prey or is that a Klingon Warbird or Romulan Warbird, I don't remember, crashing into a building? Now that would be farseeing.

I took #9, which may be a mistake, but I often have second thought. The reason for the extensive preparation is that the prep crew does like to operate in relative safety (i.e. survive the job), collect their paychecks, and go home. Now if the idea is that the way to do the job is to fly aircraft into the building to be demolished, maybe the sentiment expressed would make some sense. OTOH, it seems like using a large aircraft to knock something down as a matter of routine seems like an expensive and uncertain way to do it.

:)

Had to pick 16....I love an unreflective "everybody's stupid except me." line.

What I like about #9 is that the second bit actually describes what demolition companies already do. They figure out ways to use gravity to bring down the building and computers often help with that. Of course they are going for doing it in a safe and controlled manner.

By the way I have to admit that I actually LOL'd to #15. I don't normally do that but it was a good one.
