Well, this guy does offer some corroboration of a power down, so that's interesting.

Of course this is only in one part of one tower, and the scope of it isn't clear, Forbes and this guy can only offer their own local knowledge of what was happening.

That, I guess, is why the OP brings in Ben Fountain, who unless I've missed something said not a word about power downs. And Rodriguez, who based on his CNN, NIST and 9/11 Commission interviews didn't appear to find anything too suspicious about events until he realised he could be a truther hero.

Still, well done truthers, you've got some confirmation that a floor or two of one tower had its power cut for maybe 36 hours. So, now what?

from previous posts on here it seemed like you guys found this notion impossible. not to mention disgusting to even talk about

this idea you guys have of debunking is simply taking a piece of information and spouting vile insults at the witnesses involved and the people discussing it.

It seems you missed my question, timmyg.

You've got some confirmation that a floor or two of one tower had its power cut for maybe 36 hours. So, now what?

The nutbars think that the power-down was significant, and that it involved far more floors than it did, and that it was an opportunity to place demolitions charges.

There is no indication that anyone tore out enough of anything to do that.

People who fixate on this are wasting everyone's time.
 
why would the port authority deny that the power down ever occurred?

and why would the commission ignore it?

putting aside ideas about an 'inside job', any situation where security systems could be compromised should surely be investigated with respect to this crime like this.

We have kicked you around a lot... but just a quick question.

How long does it take to prep even a floor for demolitions? A quick estimate would be fine.

I have heard them deny a claim that both towers were powered down or that it involved floors that collapsed in the fires. If the break in structural integrity that started the collapses were on floors that had been powered down, this stuf would matter. It is, however, not the case.

As for security being breached, I would expect any firm witrh an always-on computer system would have someone there to maintain security in the office. If their computer systems were dowwn during the outage, I am also sure they would have had someone there to bring them back up at once when power was restored.

Financial firms need to be in communication with foreign offices in a lot of time zones during business hours. That includes, naturally, needing to be communicating with people who are a god four or five hours ahead of them.

Sunday night in NYC is near opening of business in Moscow, for instance. Makes no sense that this would be an opportunity to plant explosives anywhere. If the NWO ninjas who were planting the explosives needed to power down, they could do it in offices that they controlled totally. If they planted the charges in someone else's offices on a Sunday, somebody would notice something strange on Monday The attacks were on a Tuesday. There is just no way in hell that you are going to do the sort of prep that CD would require and nopt leave a trace in an occupied office.

i don't know how long it would take. it would depend on how many people were involved and what type of explosives were to be used.
i've not concluded that this power down was the window for doing this, but i'd like it to be investigated given the amazing nature of the collapse of the towers and the larger context of the whole event.

scott forbes has said that the port authority has denied that the power down ever happened. I can see no reason why he would invent such claims.

Why would the commission ignore it? Ok wizkid, WHY WOULD THE COMMISSION even mention it. Please state for me the reason why said power down is connected to the terrorist attacks on America?

Please tell me how that power down is relevant to the planes crashing into the towers...please.

I almost missed it, but on the second viewing of the video, I noticed that the fat-faced little moron referred to the Park 51 project as some sort of Muslim "trophy."

Screw the ignorant twit. He is just another sheep.
