the greatest election defeat in Illinois Senate history
Probably had trouble getting his message out over the constant drone of all them black helicopters.Keyes said a major difficulty in his campaign was overcoming the "stranglehold" the media had on trying to define the issues of importance in political campaigns.
"I refused to accept their authority, and I still do," Keyes said.
Everyone is saying they control everything?BPSCG said:Now, what was it everyone was saying about how the Christian right was controlling everything?
Patrick said:Only an idiot would claim in broad daylight that the press hasn't had a total lovefest for Obama all this fall, after the dems trotted him up to speak at their convention to give an embarassing speech which was essentially one cliche strung together with another all the way to the end. Then the Dan Rather types get all giddy because they've come up with a black guy who actually graduated from the ivy league (not a great task nowadays for hardly any black) and wonder of wonders, has actually mastered white english (you know, able to conjugate the "to be" verb, etc.)
In not congratulating Obama, as if he had merely lost a game of tennis at the club, Keyes was holding moral and intellectual integrity over chicken-sh_t political conventions. Why should he shake the hand of a politician who will now procede to do everything he can to implement state policies that are anathema to Keyes? No reason at all.
Well, you know what I mean...varwoche said:Everyone is saying they control everything?
He wanted to have sex with his wife in a semi-public place.Patrick said:At the last minute, the original republican party nominee, essentially a pervert,...
...withdraws and Keyes lets himself be drawn into the circus.
Patrick said:With all due respect, which would be near zero respect, none of you libs know what you're talking about. Alan Keyes is basically an an expert on government policy, and a man of great morality ...
"If we do not know who the mother is, who the father is, without knowing all the brothers and sisters, incest becomes inevitable," Keyes said Saturday at a Marquette Park rally held to oppose same-sex marriages. "Whether they mean it or not, that is what will happen. If you are masked from your knowing your biological parents, you are in danger of encountering brothers and sisters you have no knowledge of."

I told it like it is - in the education establishment, for many years and continuing up till now, as evidenced e.g. by all the facts revealed in the U of M USSC anti-white discrimination cases, blacks are dragged along to phony educational credentials by the mighty vacuum of "affirmative action". Non-wealthy white students succeed only by producing the goods, and under disadvantaged conditions of having no race-based scholarships, fellowships, internships, etc.
and then I tell you should look more into what he has done in reference to that. So you talk about something else?
No, I looked at your election link, and translated it - there's a one-to-one correlation between every statement I made and the corresponding glittering liberal-speak item on your political site. Want me to match them up for you?
If you'd only follow your own advice.keep your mouth shut AT LEAST till you do your homework
If you're trying to claim that the media 'lovefest' is why Obama won the election, keep in mind that according to you the 'liberal media' had a total lovefest for Kerry, but he still lost. The country is divided. Illinois is divided. If Illinois voted for Obama, obviously conservatives and Republicans must have voted for him. This means that they must have thought he was a better candidate than Keyes.Only an idiot would claim in broad daylight that the press hasn't had a total lovefest for Obama all this fall, after the dems trotted him up to speak at their convention to give an embarassing speech which was essentially one cliche strung together with another all the way to the end.
You don't want them going on welfare, but you don't want them working. What exactly DO you want single moms to do, Patrick? What is your magical solution to feed, clothe and house these women and their children? And what about single FATHERS, Patrick? What do you propose for THEM?He pushed day care paid for by non-parent taxpayers so women who have children can abandon them during the day so that they can get a job
You complained about George Soros and the 527s, but you consider campaign finance reform to be suppression of free speech? Also, Obama is a senator ELECT - he hasn't been to a single session yet. If you are looking for a scapegoat for this "suppression of free speech", please check out one of the CURRENT senators such as John McCain, a Republican.Helped suppress the First Amendment with "campaign finance reform legislation"
Congratulations to Alan Keyes. He's just indicted adoption. If we do not know who the mother is, who the father is, without knowing all the brothers and sisters, incest becomes inevitable," Keyes said Saturday at a Marquette Park rally held to oppose same-sex marriages. "Whether they mean it or not, that is what will happen. If you are masked from your knowing your biological parents, you are in danger of encountering brothers and sisters you have no knowledge of."
Let's say you're right, for just a second, Patrick. Do you have any evidence that Obama didn't earn his spot in an Ivy League school? Or is it your position that ANY black man in an ivy league school must have been placed there by affirmative action?I told it like it is - in the education establishment, for many years and continuing up till now, as evidenced e.g. by all the facts revealed in the U of M USSC anti-white discrimination cases, blacks are dragged along to phony educational credentials by the mighty vacuum of "affirmative action". Non-wealthy white students succeed only by producing the goods, and under disadvantaged conditions of having no race-based scholarships, fellowships, internships, etc.
