A call for help...

Greetings everyone. I know that I'm new here, and this is my first post, but I thought that everyone here (atheist or theist, it doesn't matter in this case) might be interested in lending a hand with something...

I come to you from www.rx7club.com which is a huge online community dedicated to the Mazda RX-7. For the longest time, there has been one person on that site that stops at nothing to ram his religion down everyone else's throats as hard as he possibly can. That's only the beginning. Everyone, be they Christian, non-Christain, atheist, whatever, is a target for this maniac. He is so deluded and arrogant that his and ONLY his extremely specific views about every part of the Christian religion are the absolute truth, and everyone else, who even SLIGHTLY deviates from his specifics, is going to roast in hell.

He is part of a branch of Christianity that firmly believes in and accepts the "Angry, super pissed-off God", whatever branch that may be. He is insulting, arrogant, a flat out liar, completely closed-minded (although of course he says he is open-minded), very angry at everyone around him, and most importantly HE JUST WON'T SHUT UP!! Seriously, this guy invades not only every life-oriented or semi-religious oriented post and starts spewing his venom, but many other posts as well that are completely unrelated in any way to religion. Most recently, he invaded a post talking about Rap music and started talking about how Rap is not music because "God says so, end of story". Then he threw out a bunch of meaningless bible quotes (which account for 99% of everything he ever posts) to "support" his view. He has even been banned multiple times for the way he acts.

I am an atheist, and I would love nothing more than to see this guy get permanently smacked down in a typical debate, but the people on the rx7club are well, not doing the best job of responding to this guy. I figured that some of you here, with the knowledge and experience you've obviously accumulated over the years, would be able to put quite the hurtin' to him. It goes beyond atheism though. This is what I ask of you --

Atheists/Agnostics: Please, if you would, sign up on the website and just let this guy have it. Let this guy HAVE IT! He thinks he knows everything there is to know about science, logic, and everything else because of the Creationist websites he frequents, and when you start arguing with him you will see the insults and bible quotes start to fly. I can't even begin to describe the lunacy that is this guy, you have to go see for yourselves. I promise you a very very good time debating him.

Christians/Theists/Everyone else: Again, if you would (even from a religious viewpoint), sign up on the website and LET THIS GUY HAVE IT! He recently started arguing with an actual Pastor, insulting him and telling him how stupid and hell-bound he is. I offer you a quote --

am I overly confrontational at times? yes...but I have an intense love for the truth and a perfect intolerance for fools who attack it or whitewash it, I will not equivocate for one second with those who bastardize the truth into some new age warm and fuzzy religion

you lose...there is no seeker friendly message, there is only the Truth, and all human opinions/philosophies are worthless.....the very fact that you tried to say Paul's Spirit inspired teaching in Romans takes a back seat to some human "teacher" after the canon was closed shows what a fool you are

That's just a taste, it's actually pretty tame considering the insulting garbage this guy usually spits out. Even though I am an atheist, I can firmly say that this guy does a huge disservice to Christianity in general and makes the religion look undeservedly bad. I would imagine some of the believers on here would be more than interested in straightening this guy out.

To close, this guys ID on the rx7club is yzf-r1. Most of the debating takes place in the "difference of opinion" section,

Please help us make these sections peaceful again. Please totally lay the smackdown on this arrogant, hateful fool. I believe the experience would be very rewarding. These types of people need to be put in there place.

Welcome to the forums Emperor! RX-7's are cool but I like the new RX-8. I suppose that's sacrilege in your part of town!
Anyway. This guy is probably best avoided. People like him don't even know what a debate is never mind listening to other views. I could produce a reasoned argument that would easily be more coherent than his but would he listen?

He KNOWS he's right. My opinion isn't even worth the reading time. I would simply have my logic spat back in my face. Your best hope is to ignore this blow-hard and hope he runs out of puff eventually.

Nah, as long as it's a rotary it's all part of the brotherhood! RX-7, RX-8, Cosmo, there's quite a few.

I've debated with him a bit here and there but when nobody else backs you up against someone like that, it gets to be more trouble than it's worth. I figure that if a slew of people start laying into him maybe he'll finally shut up. He has been hanging around for a long time and ignoring him doesn't seem to matter, since he just keeps invading post after post after post to spew his hate.

At any rate, even if you don't want to debate him, just check out some of the garbage he posts for a good laugh! There's plenty of it to choose from.

I don't even think of a cool sportsbike anymore when I think of the name YZF-R1. All I can think of when I see that term is "hateful, arrogant man"...

As a Xtian myself, it's always sad to see Christendom hindered by someone calling himself a Xtian. He sounds like a very bitter, unhappy person and is trying to build himself up by putting down others including members of his own Xtian "family." I am not a debatter, so I can't go after him myself (I'm a thinker). However, this guy definitely needs to read I Corinthians 13 (what love is all about); and James I as in quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger. Many Xtians are insecure and uneducated in church and jewish history - it boggles my mind, and then they think they must preach to the world. I hope this helps you. Any questions let me know. If he is being so abusive, why are the moderators not just banning him? You paint him to be replying and hijacking every post. That even happens here occaissionally someone will just take over a thread through sheer post count. That's when I just stop reading. Unless these are religious debate areas, you should just ban him... it's off topic posting. If they are, then just ignore him.

Gestahl has a great point about the moderators banning him. Why is allowed to create his havoc?

He's been banned before, and multiple times. Supposedly though he will tell the mods that he won't post off-topic anymore but ends up still doing it anyway. Nowadays, most of his stuff is confined to the appropriate forum, but he still posts his hate in other nonrelated topics to some degree, but I guess not enough to get him banned yet again.

My vast knowledge and experience tell me this: There is no talking to some people. It seems like this guy is impervious to all logic, so to try it is futile. I have to agree with the others -- this is a job for a mod.
