Mike Pence has said he will not endorse Trump for POTUS.

“It should come as no surprise that I will not be endorsing Donald Trump this year,” Pence told Fox News.

The former vice president on Friday said his differences with Trump go beyond that day, citing the former president’s lack of a plan to confront the national debt, his evasive comments about restrictions on abortion and his recent opposition to a ban on TikTok, something his own administration pursued in 2020.

“In each of these cases Donald Trump is pursuing and articulating an agenda that is at odds with the conservative agenda that we governed on during our four years,” Pence said. “And that’s why I cannot in good conscience endorse Donald Trump in this campaign.”

Jan. 6, false claims of election rigging, and Trump's many legal problems were not mentioned.

Has there ever been a case when a former VP wouldn't publicly refuse to endorse the nominee of his party and former running mate?

Pence's statements seem to have zero impact on Republicans m

I have decided to not allow myself to respond with personal attacks or personal insults to other forum members. When one lowers themselves to that level, it's an open admission that they cannot debate with fact and must resort to logical fallacy arguments.

In other words, when the response becomes a personal insult, you lose the debate at that very moment. If your Ideology cannot withstand factual debate, it's not worthy of the attempt.

Don't worry lad, it'd take a hell of a lot of climbing for you to reach that level.

Apparently that wasn't a factor at all... Pence says it was because Trump isn't firm on the Republican ideals, like cutting social security benefits, banning TikTok and stuff. Imagine that...

It's difficult enough for a Republican politician to do the right thing, it's asking too much to expect them not to lie about why they're doing it. Cut him some slack!

Pence’s reasons for not supporting Trump are the worst reasons. Jeez, I’d give him the reason that Trump sided with people who wanted him dead. That would be respectable. But Trump not being Jesus enough is a reason for Pence to get some evangelical political party going.

Yeah, nobody should forget Pence is hardly a sweet-smelling rose in full, beautiful bloom.

FTFY. Jesus and Republican Jesus are mostly opposites in what they push, after all. If one were the more objectively religious type, calling Republican Jesus "Satan" would likely make quite a bit of sense.

Hey, woah there. What'd the poor devil ever do to you to slander him so?

When a petty insult can actually be considered a sound debate strategy, you may have something. Until then, not so much.

Personally, I prefer World peace without new wars in contrast to killing untold numbers of human beings. That's going to be my main reason for voting Trump in the 2024 election. I also prefer when consumer prices are not inflated.

Do you enjoy the current wars, death and destruction that could be stopped with a phone call?

i remember when he let every metro area in the country get looted and burn for a summer

Why should this matter? VP Harris said Biden was a Racist responsible for her being bussed as a little girl during the Democratic Presidential primary debates.

How, exactly, will Trump produce your predicted results when he couldn't do it before? Your misplaced faith in Trump makes me wonder where you stand on Santa Claus, Bigfoot, and the Easter Bunny.

"Stopped with a phone call." Uh huh. Who would Trump call and what would he say to end these wars? Would he call Ukraine and say that they need to stop or the US will invade Ukraine to help Russia? He's definitely not going to take a strong stance against Putin, after all, and would fairly certainly increase the chances of a dramatically more dangerous direct war between Russia and NATO, again. Is he going to call up Hamas? Or Israel? What's the threat or bribe in either case? Is he going to emptily threaten to wreck an economy like he did to Turkey when he betrayed the Kurds?

I definitely do not enjoy the current wars or the death and destruction, but what Trump offers is worse. He'll just keep on betraying our allies and priming the stage for atrocity.

Citation?

Here's a fact check from AP.

Short version, it's false. To add a little more context, though -

During the debate, Harris condemned Biden for working with segregationists in the Senate and for opposing aspects of mandatory busing for school desegregation. However, she began her critique by telling Biden “I do not believe you are a racist.”

Trump says he will impose a 100% tariff on all foreign made cars. Talk about inflated prices!!!
