Yes, Morning Joe! People vote at a much higher rate in the general election, Morning Joe! If you deliberately exclude all the people who didn’t vote in the mid-terms you have a higher risk of an unrepresentative sample, Morning Joe!

I can’t believe he is this stupid. Wasn’t he once a politician himself?

The Michigan and Wisconsin polls are going Biden direction. There is no longer a 4% gap. The WI one is now undecided as the error in poll is bigger.

Jesus H. ******* Christ on a Cracker! They left Canada because of people who aren't actually doing them any harm at all, for a country where people disappear and get killed, thrown in jail or forced into the army all the time? Did they think that everyone in Russia speaks English? IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDIOTS!!!!!!!! Canada is better off without them.

Trump demands drug test for Biden before first presidential debate

Donald Trump demanded on Friday that Joe Biden be drug tested ahead of the two presidential debates both candidates have agreed to participate in.

The former president cited the incumbent’s State of the Union address in March in his call for drug testing, alleging that Biden was “high as a kite” when he delivered the speech.

“I just want to debate this guy, but you know – and I’m gonna demand a drug test too, by the way,” Trump told Republicans during a speech at a GOP dinner in St. Paul, Minn.

“I am. No, I really am. I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union. He was high as a kite,” the presumptive GOP nominee for president added.

“We’re going to demand a drug test,” Trump reiterated, without saying whether he would take one himself.

Just the first of a string of ridiculous demands Trump will make that Biden's people would never agree to, then of course Trump will claim Biden is avoiding him. There won't be any debates.
 
Yeah, I’ll take a silly drug test, right after Donald submits to a full cognitive exam. And also concedes the 2020 election. Y’know, like a big boy would do.

It has rules, which they would actually enforce. So he would be stymied from his usual free-wheeling methods of shouting over, or interrupting with smarmy comments from the peanut-gallery, etc. As I mentioned a long way up-thread, it would descend into farce, and hardly be a debate worthy of candidates for the office of POTUS.

More seriously, after Trump's recent looney-toons outbursts at his own carefully-orchestrated rallies, the last thing his "handlers" want is to have Trump off the leash talking ad hoc on national TV with Biden artfully bating him. A PR nightmare, which Trump, a bear of VERY little brain, would think he had actually won. Better to invent excuses and avoid the problem altogether.
 
Trump is worried that he would have to use his highest lift shoes to make sure that he looks noticeably taller than Biden. Last time he tried, he nearly broke his hip.
 
I would expect Trump's handlers' main concern with a debate is that Trump would run his mouth and make self-incriminating admissions as well as gag order violations for his current trials. They probably pine for the good old days when all they had to worry about was him sounding stupid!

Even so, one would think that Trump's (latest) Mitch Moment would receive a bit more attention. It's Trump, though, and that unhealthy old man has a bunch of people invested in either the horse race or propping up a narrative. Were it Biden, of course, so very many would be immediately jumping on him in line with the "old" narratives.
