Ok, so polling hasn't been very accurate lately, but the Dems should be ******** their pants right now - Biden is too old and doddery, and I think you're going to get another 4 years of Donald J Trump as president. The picture in that article screams that Biden should be in aged care, not the White House. Trump will make him look positively geriatric in the debates.

This time around he'll be out of the gates like a greyhound - he knows how the game works and will be full of hateful energy to start dispensing from day 1.
 
This is starting to sound like 1980 again, but unfortunately Donald Trump isn't Ronald Reagan.

What makes you think Trump will debate Biden? He hasn't shown any interest in debating any Republicans this round, my guess is, he won't debate Biden when the time comes either. He knows he has nothing to gain showing the world how outright stupid he is on most any subject that might arise in a debate scenario.

It's great for Trump's fundraising. And there are a significant number of idiots who believe it's all the deep state, whatever. But when he loses the ability to do business in NY, and even if there are months or years of appeals, I would think his properties there would be in receivership until he wins an appeal. And that drains all the money he has left in legal fees. How long are those people he grifts off of going to keep sending in their money for his legal fees?

Campaign ads can say he showed a magazine as proof he was a billionaire. The ads can show what a fraud he is. And that's not even getting into his retribution statements or how dangerous he is.

All these polls are well before anyone is campaigning against Trump.

And as for Biden, for every little gaffe he makes, there is more than enough footage of Trump's senile gaffes to compare it to.

Biden is only 3 years older than Trump, although it doesn't seem like it. Trump has definitely lost a step since his younger days, but Biden has lost a lot more.

I still don't think Biden will be the candidate for the Dems.

If I were a Biden backer, I'd be much more worried about him on a debate stage than Trump.

Because even a moron like Trump will realise there's mileage in putting Biden in front of cameras unscripted. Facts don't matter, opinions do, and it's clear the opinion of Biden is that he's senile.

They've painted themselves into a corner yet again where these isn't an alternative other than him dropping dead, and Harris loses no matter what.

It's kind of like how people mock the time President Obama pronounced "corps" as "corpse" over, and over, and over, and over, because it's pretty much the only thing they can think of, while ignoring everything that Trump has said wrong.
(I just saw someone do it a couple days ago, so it's fresh in my mind.)

I'd say it's far more dangerous to put an unscripted Trump in front of cameras as evidenced by his inability to talk about anything other than how the election was stolen from him, he's a victim of witch hunts and the most persecuted person in history. Recently, he thanked a crowd for coming out in S. Dakota...when he was in Iowa. He said he was ahead of Obama in election polls, we might get into WW2, said Viktor Orban was the PM of Turkey, has repeatedly pronounced Hamas as "hummus", he confused Jeb Bush with George W. Bush, and has told MAGA rally attendees "not to vote".

The difference being that even those who should be supporting Biden, since he's going to be the Dem nominee whether you like it or not, are bashing him and calling him senile. Trump voters latch onto that.

Trump keeps pronouncing Hamas as 'hummus'.

He also said that "the people who are pouring into our country are, in many cases, the same people who just attacked Israel." He just makes crap up as he talks.
 
It's a testament to the strength of our nation that the only thing that will stop it from being these two AGAIN are death or taxes.

i'm not convinced trump buried in felony lawsuits in multiple states with a hodge podge of underqualified lawyers that are in way over their heads can run a functional campaign with the d-listers he has left. i think him and the GOP in general are going to have a lot of funding problems as well
