Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.
The San Francisco-based EFF is suing Geller for getting YouTube to remove an unflattering clip over which he claimed copyright ownership through his London-based company Explorologist Ltd.

LOL...
You can now see the video again from a Israeli news show, where they exposed Geller's move a day after it happened.

It seems to me that ol Uri has been exposed so many times that it should be getting tiresome. Does he have a group of followers that keep the faith in his spoon bending abilities? I see his name mentioned a lot in here. Why is he so specially bad?
Brian Flemming (director of "The God Who Wasn't There") got sent:

As a response Brian posted:

Good to see Geller is still keeping busy these days.
Many of you have already seen this video:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9w7jHYriFo
And many of you have learned about the scam "best seller" called The Secret.
About 3:15 (if memory serves) into the aforementioned video, Uri proclaims what "The Secret" is all about... Want something... Will...
There was an attempt, using the SAME POWERS as Uri Geller, at a world record mass spoon bending.
Will they do it or is it only Geller who has these amazing powers from the heavens? Will Geller try to have this video removed from the web?
And I throw down the challenge to all of you at your...
The youtube video ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9w7jHYriFo ) of Randi criticizing Geller was pulled offline with a notice "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by Explorologist LTD."
I typed "Explorologist" into google and got 9 hits. The only relevant hits link to...
Quite remarkable - Watch out Randi, The million pound prize is as good as won. How this guy does it is unexplained but if it's a trick it's very subtle - . I couldn't spot it no matter how many times I watched - Even Geller is impressed......:boggled:

An old article from James Randi in The Toronto Star Aug 23, 1986. This might be of interest:
This is only segments, the full article is http://zammoth-jamesrandi.blogspot.com/
Some thoughts about the 2/23 commentary
1)
Can anybody find Geller doing this without choosing the star symbol?
2)
Where are the studies that show people mostly pick the star, mostly pick 7, or 35, or 37, or don't pick repeated digits like 22 or 99, and that odd numbers are favored over...
The tapes from the infamous Geller testing by Stanford Research Institute are on youtube. If you aren't familiar with the story:

I was driving my car the other day and I had the radio on and there was an advert for a mall appearance ("Grand Kenyon" in Haifa) of the Uri Geller's "The Successor" winner.
The advert was pushing the same nasty spiel we've heard from Uri Geller, but this time associated to the winner of the...
This is a thread dedicated to who should be on the list for the new $1M Challenge.
Luckily some of the sane TV hosts (as opposed to Larry Whatshisfreakinface) are spending time making truly constructive comments on psychics in/from the UK.
Just check this out if you don't believe me! Just a...
Fun little mention of Geller this week:

The column says video is no longer available on youtube. I found it here.

Kind of scary how credulous the audience is. One of things I have noticed from being in...
When Uri Geller's new show started to be advertised here in Israel, I thought this could be interesting. The most famous "psychic". Scientists could not explain what he did, right? And now I can get a close look at his tricks, and see what he's all about and how good he really is. (This was...
Interesting Uri Geller documentary here. I haven't finished it yet, but so far I've learned:
Geller started his career as a model (for cigarette and deodorant ads, among others).
At Geller's wedding, Michael Jackson was his best man.
Jesus Christ and George Bush have 11 letters in their name...
On the Geller show in Israel, he did a trick where he moved a huge magnet. At first he managed to move it a little, but after a minute or so you could see him very clearly putting a fake thumb, so that he could move the magnet even better.
The video can be seen over here. It's the first clip...
Hello everyone, greetings from Israel!
Not sure if it has been posted here before, but Uri Geller has a new reality show over here to choose his "heir", in the style of American Idol. Which is a bit of a shame since it's been so many years since he's been on TV here, and now he's having his...
Just picked up elsewhere the following which doesn't seem to be on this forum yet:

I haven't read it through yet, but I shall be interested to hear your views ... unless the article is too daft to make it worthy of comment!
Must be right then, if he says so.

Reuters on Wed Oct 18, 2006 ran a story about a possible new
reality television show being produced for Israel's Channel Two television.
It seems Uri is searching for an heir and rather than following natures course he wants to do it on TV with contestants.
That has got me thinking. Could we...
I came across this Reuters article, via BoingBoing. Snippet:
"This is not a show where people have to prove to me that they are for real. I just want to be amazed."
Hilarious!!!
I noticed a group of Gellar videos on youtube, all supportive, including video of the faked tests at SRI. Curious, I glanced at the poster's identity. I could only laugh as I found that all had been posted by a person familiar to all who follow Randi's research:
shipishtrang
For a glance at...
I could not help myself when I saw this video:
