Hypothetically.
What should a film star attached to a religion that is famous for hounding it's enemies (does that even differentiate it from other religions?) do if allegations of homosexual encounters surface? (No poll)
I think this would be the perfect time to come out. You could...
The March 10 San Antonio Express-News has a column about a suit filed by the Church of Scientology against former official Debbie Cook. She says she was kidnapped, imprisoned and tortured.
I thought this line was especially sad: "...she suggests the exalted position of Miscavige is a corruption...

Newspaper "Le Monde" is reporting that the French branch of the COS has been condemned to a fine of Euro 600'000 for "organised fraud". Its main leader has received a 2 years suspended sentence and a € 30'000 fine. Lesser employees have received suspended sentences and fines.
I don't mean the CHURCH OF Scientology. I mean SCIENTOLOGY, the philosophy/Religion.
We don't confuse Christianity with the Roman Catholic church, so let's not confuse Scientology with the Church of Scientology.
The problem with the CoS (Church of Scientology) is that it has some sales...

An expert on dangerous cults informed me that Germany has Banned Scientology in all forms.

on a serious note, should scientology be protected under freedom of religion? or should we ban them? and why?
PS: i know they didn't, but there are attempts to do so.
I can not post a url because I am new but for UK citizens and/or UK residents there is a Scientology e-petition you can sign to help stop this "Church" getting tax breaks in the UK. If you Google......

Not that we need reminding that Scientology is one big fat con, that L. Ron Hubbard was a conman and that Tom Cruise is a moron:

Just what we need, high level civic recognition of these idiots. At least the state's Premier had more sense and gave the CoS a spray.
I have now lost respect for the mayor.
One thing that I can do regarding christianity and atheism that I can't find for scientology; I can go on a forum and see arguments between believers and non-believers; not only seeing both sides but see each side's response to the other's criticisms. Heck, I can even see ex-believers arguing...
John Sweeney, who famously lost it when making a film for the BBC about Scientology, has a new programme about the "church" on BBC1 on Tuesday:

It'll be on iPlayer.
BBC 1 Tuesday 21.00
On IPlayer UK only (and I expect youtube later)
The preview only shows a clip of the usual cat & mouse video intimidation by Cos so I hope the program itself is more substantial.
