Many negative youtube videos have been removed at the request of Hovind's "ministry." The videos include prison phone calls, music, and criticism, which are not owned by Hovind.

Yes, apparently Kent Hovind or someone associated with him had my YouTube vid pulled. I could've sworn Kent Hovind said repeatedly that his material was NOT copyrighted?
Kent Hovind's son, Eric Hovind, is selling home school material about "residential electricity" at Hovind's website. Does this seem dangerous to anyone else? Afterall its the same person described here.

Kent Hovind's wife, Jo Hovind, will be sentenced Friday June 29, 2007. She was convicted of 44 federal counts, and he was convicted of 58. Both decided not to present a defense at trial.

Ray Comfort, church minister/Kirk Cameron's sidekick, has pulled a Kent Hovind. Hovind used to offer $250,000 for proof of evolution, but he is behind bars for the next 10 years for obstruction of justice and 57 other felonies. It appears Comfort has taken up the reins for creationist...
Kent Hovind is one of the most famous creationists. How people admire and/or accept his reasoning is truly disappointing.
Look at this case from 1996:

In the last month Hovind's appeal was denied and he moved from a minimum security prison to a medium security prison. Now according to a posting by Paul Abramson (a Hovind supporter/operator of Hovind's blog):

As posted previously Kent Hovind requested some of his charges be dismissed citing a obscure Supreme Court case. Today it was denied.

On web site thestar dot com, article/198318 [can't post links yet].
It pretty clearly supports evolution as science (and ID/creationism as not science). Some quotes:

Eric Hovind, Kent Hovind's son, is trying to continue the lies and business (I say business because it is not a registered church or non-profit) that is Creation Science Evangelism. Since the elder is in the big house, Eric is trying to earn the cash.
Like his dad, Eric attended a unaccredited...

With Hovind spending the next few years in prison, I wonder if his "challenge" is going to disappear from his website since the different government agencies wants to collect 1,000,000+ in back taxes.

An older thread about the trial The Second Week of Kent Hovind's Tax Trial .
From Hovind's blog:
I didn't think a judge at sentencing can acquit someone who has been convicted by a jury. Is it possible? If so, on what grounds?
I strongly doubt Hovind will get anything less than a few years. Though it is possible he gets more than a just few years as 58 felonies is...

I finding it troubling that Amazon.com allows people without accredited doctorates to promote themselves as a "Dr." This gives a false legitmacy that these people are an authority on a subject like science.
For example, Kent Hovind is listed as "Dr Kent Hovind" (here) at Amazon.com even though...
Kent Hovind's July 11, 2006 indictment. A rather interesting document, especially count 58, which noted "Making threats of harm to those investigating him and to those who may consider cooperating with their investigation."
Some of the key terms in this paper about this creationist are "false...
I think the Truth movement should promote this more. Kent Hovind is one of them! Take a look at his quotes at http://www.kent-hovind.com/quotes/conspiracy.htm .
Not only 9/11, but he's really into the Chemtrails thing, that vaccinations are designed to reduce the population, that the OKC...

What a surprise! I always thought that Hovind was one of those good Christian, family values guys. I'm sure that as soon as Hovind asks for Jesus's forgiveness, everything will be fine again.

This is the most thorough ass-kicking I've ever heard. Begins about 3 minutes in. A guy named "Martin" calls in to correct Hovind (a creationist lecturer) on a small point about embryos. Hovind tries to challenge Martin on evolution...and...
From a site that tracks wacky quotes from Kent Hovind ( http://www.kent-hovind.com/quotes/conspiracy.htm ).
Isn't calling the president a Satanist an unmistakable sign of being a certified crack-pot?
Kent Hovind is charged with 58 federal counts including filing a frivolous lawsuits, false complaints, making threats against investigators and those cooperating with the investigation, and includes failing to pay $473,818 in employee-related taxes. What are some proposed outcomes?
I ask...
I found this and thought it was very interesting. It's a 2005 affidavit written by Kent Hovind during his tax case. I have quoted it in full since it is a public record on file at the Circuit Court of Escambia County.
