After following the men for a year, the researchers found that for every 10...
Please note that several of the researchers came from pro-acupuncture organizations, so let's have none of this "Oh, it was biased against acupuncture" manure.
Scientists have apparently cracked a 20-year-old mystery surrounding the complex relationship between the AIDS virus and the immune system.

Anyone heard this gem before?
Apparently..

From 'The Guardian' :
The Catholic Church's oppositions to barrier protection methods is well known - and widely ignored, at least in the developed world. Now it seems that they are stepping up thier attack with a pseudoscientific attack on the effectiveness of the humble condom.
It really...
I saw Bush the great compromiser talking about millions of dollars for AIDS today.
I couldn't help thinking what in the hell can governments do to stop the spread of AIDS. Are we going to send military forces armed with rubbers and night vision goggles to peek inside people's homes to see if...

This sounds bad. Something this unlikely and unproven would not likely be approved for human trials in the U.S.

Fuzeon, also known as T-20, has been approved by the FDA for treatment of AIDS. It works by a completely different mode of action than previous AIDS drugs, so should be useful to those whose...
New research is claiming that the spread of AIDS in Africa may have been primarily caused by dirty needles. BBC reports that the UN disagrees.
The researchers claim that evidence that dirty needles are the primary cause was (is) covered up by people in the west with a political agenda that...
