Time to start the war on Buddhists? :boggled:

"Is he Muslim or is he Atheist?" He's all three! (communist as well, of course)

"He is a Muslim, his father was a muslim, his father was an atheist, his father was a communist"

What sort of logic was that?

My earlier views of the unsoundness of the Christian scheme of salvation and the human origin of the scriptures, have become clearer and stronger with advancing years and I see no reason for thinking I shall ever change them.

I'm sure they'd want to prevent guys like this from ever being elected too, since they just aren't real Americans.

Those people are saying the exact same things as in 2008. Incredible. There really seems to be a lack of decent talking points on the Republican side.

And yet it looks like half the country will be going for their "What's behind door number 2?" platform. What I'm taking away from this cycle is that everyone can have their own facts and the truth is malleable.

That lady is just taking everything she's afraid of and projecting it onto Obama.
It's like a child being afraid of the boogeyman. No logic required.

I find it interesting that even among Romney's supporters, there's little, if any reason given as to why he deserves the support. It seems to boil down to 'he's not Obama.'

No one (not just in this video, but in general) can provide details of Romney's policies, other than reducing taxes and increasing spending will allow the deficit to go down. There seems to be not much positive said about Romney, but lots that's negative said about Obama.

Oh, the ignorance burns...shut it off.

I have little doubt you could find some equally ignorant people at at an Obama rally.

I heard a funny guy on some news show today, saying something like,

"This president doesn't have any track record to run on, that's why all he has is negative campaigning."

The irony made me laugh, except for the fact that I'm sure the guy didn't realize how ironic it was.

I have no doubt at all. I see both sides attacking each other with this garbage every day. Really...great thread.
