... an all-knowing and all-powerful Creator of the Universe and everything in it,

could such a God handle everything necessary to being able to get a Book delivered to us as He intends?

Or stated another way;

Is there any reason to believe that God could not get A Book to us as He intends?

If he is GOD and not just a powerful Alien....then NO.

If he INTENDS something and then he cannot do what he intends then he is not a GOD.

Would such a God transcend pairs of opposites, such as male and female, good and evil?

Every denomination thinks that their version of the book is the one that he intended.

Why not just have it written ( in the appropriate language ) in cloud formations?

He could make a bush talk, why not have them ALL talk? And on command?

Jude, are you actually an Atheist?

You are very good at highlighting the absurdities of Religious Faith...

Oh...and the answer to the OP is yes-what do YOU think"all powerful" means?

JudeBrando: Are you saying that God intended the Bible to be full of contradictions, lies, inaccuracies, brutality and repugnant "Morality"?

God wanted the book to read like it was written by a bunch of pig-ignorant morons?

Would God really have time to spend playing around with 1 single planet when space is so vast and has the possibility of having millions+ of planets?

I have had that same thought, if God intended for all to hear his words whether through text or any means of communication it would be so, I know exactly where you're coming from. With all the ill intented people there are, it's hard to trust words that were written by a man who says he was in direct communication with God. If you take it in present terms and you have someone claim they are talking to God and knows his plan he would be labeled a schizophrenic. All in all it is a tough question to answer, and can't be answered unless God proves himself and confirms it. I guess it's based on your level of 'faith'.

These are irrational concepts but given them I'd like to think he could do better than a book of witchcraft, magic, talking snakes, talking donkeys, giants, genocide, incest, infanticide, slavery and the moral code of an ancient people.

Free will factors

"Is there any reason to believe that God could not get A Book to us as He intends? "

A God "could" "get A Book to us as he intends", but if He gave dominion to humans and/or Elohim over everything on earth, then the question is "would God allow humans and/or elohim to change it in different texts?"

"God" could be translated YHWH, Elohim, and etc. If that book is called The Bible, The Dead Sea Scrolls, or the Torah, then Jeff Brenner of Ancient Hebrew Research Center, Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries and others are bringing more clear understandings of the actual texts.

Also we all have slang or other terms that could be interpreted differently as well as word meaning changes and the context as would be understood by the original recipients of the Book.

Of course. It's right there in the definition you gave. All powerful.
What you are asking is :
Is an all-powerful being all-powerful?
Silly, silly, silly.

He is Jewish...he only speaks ancient Hebrew. Although he may also know Aramaic through having had a fling with an Aramaic speaking young married girl.

If He is all-powerful, then he could snap His fingers and we would all understand Hebrew or Aramaic or whatever.

This method of semitic whispers that he's been using up til now obviously isn't working. Why not change it?

It's pretty clear JHWH isn't the brightest Deity in the Pantheon.

Why not? I mean, if we can hypothesize that Santa Clause can deliver toys to all the good little boys and girls in one night, why can't we hypothesize that an omnipotent god can control the scribes copying a book?
