China has been involved in some millitry cooperation with Pakistan. Which means there are good odds that they already have assets on the ground. China has it's own issues with islamic radicals and is a lot closer to Pakistan than the US.

India's armed forces are rather more extensive than you appear to think and are for the most part pointed at Pakistan.

I was thinking more like outhouse cleaners. On the other hand people who are not fond of lawyers probably see this as a step up - somehow. (I do not - just proves a large part of Pakistan is just as backwards as most of their local friends and neighbors - still mired in the 12th Century or thereabouts.)

I have no doubt that India would get Pakistan't nuclear warheads if they decide to launch a full-scale invasion of Pakistan. Unfortunately, they'd be delivered to India via ballistic missile.
 
Does Pakistan have oil?

Because if they don't, I don't see a very bright economic future for them.

I'm certainly not flying over there to set up a call centre and do some software development.

I am an insider.
We, the West, more or less, now can handle active terrorists, like suicide bombers. We have law enforcement, CIA, FBI, Homeland Security to handle that. We already have sacrifice our freedom of expression a great deal. Since Galileo Galilee, It took us several hundred years to gain Freedom of Expression. Unfortunately, over 95% of Muslims, (1.5 billion of 6.7 billion of world population are Muslims) subconsciously are up to destroy the Western way of living. Some might. If there is a mob/riot at the gates and the US doesn't look like an atractive option china would be next on the list. But you don't have to capture them just render them inoperable. Which if you are not worried about localised radioactive contamination is not hard to do.

Pakistan's second strike ability is limited. If India can keep track of where Pakistan's weapons are which given the small number is more practical than it otherwise might be then the odds start to look better than some of the alturnatives.
