I believe it so... The Native american Believed in a great Spirit... the respected the earth.. The respected animals they ate... The Bablyon System have nothing but skeptism for spirituality... Bravado,, exalted human vanity... raping and pillaging the land... ,,,, whether you like it or not.. whether its real or not... God is neccesary to control mankinds wicked ways... It does not have to be magic... god is a concept what keep the ignorant selfish scared human from destroying our earth...
we mated with neandertals... perhaps god is there to keep this in check...

It does not have to be legibility... comma is a concept what keep the ignorant selfish scared human from destroying our language...

Aren't we doing a lot better with that nowadays?

What with all the "green" energy alternatives gaining esteem as viable alternatives to oil, more and more hybrid vehicles appearing on the roads (I drive one myself)... the list goes on. Seems to me humanity made a few mistakes but are trying to correct them, currently, in most of the world.

Not so much sky daddy but blood vendetta. You kill my brother, I kill your brother. You rape my sister, I rape your sister.

Both sets of cultures practiced this to some extent. The Babylonians codified it. It has been used for ages to keep semi-reasonable people in check.
Furthermore, Native Americans are not one uniform culture that had some singular belief so to say they believed in the "Great Spirit" is a vast oversimplification of the variety of cultures and beliefs among the tribes.

Why is it all people trying to promote these giant eternal truths have to put it in some grammatically anarchistic beat poetry style?

Large scale skepticism is a rather new phenomena. How do you know that as the atheist movement grows things won't improve? Being religious doesn't stop murder and rape and atrocities. Historically one religious group can really mistreat another group. Read your history.

If i don't believe in the police they still protect me.

Why is it if i don't believe in god he doesn't protect me? Seems god could learn something from us, not the other way around.

To be fair, the OP seems to be arguing for the idea that the fear of God (whether or not God is real) is what keeps people in line. Not that I think the argument has been made well.
 
Is the OP implying mating with neanderthals was a bad thing, and that we need the fear of god to prevent it happening again?

It does sound like it. Personally, I think it was a fine idea. But also they seem to be cherry-picking historical data (some of which is also imaginary). Let's talk about the atrocities committed by religious folk...

Or, let's not. I have a weak stomach.
