I was wondering has anyone read a book on Telekinesis, I was wondering what actual advice they give. Also the psi wheel how does that actually work, I wondering about the trick. I heard it was something to do with heat, however wikipedia said it doesn't explain why the people can control the direction off the spin.

Everything just seems like a trick for example http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAMQQZdnBV8 is just a stupid trick.

That would be more impressive if he made it stop then continue in the same direction...

That's right!

There is nothing to telekinesis that can not be performed by any magician.

The "psi wheels" are highly susceptible to air currents and static electricity. Any barrier or enclosure that prevents the wheel from being effected by breezes, static, or anything other than the thoughts/willpower of the alleged practitioner renders the wheel immobile. Prevent anyone from blowing on a psi wheel and the wheel won't move. Isolate the psi wheel from static electricity and the wheel won't move.

The 'practitioners' have all kinds of excuses as to why their 'powers' suddenly stop working -- none of which have any basis in reality.

Telekinesis is a myth.

That's one possibility.

I'd have liked to see that with a glass jar, not one made of thin plastic. The body heat from the hands might be enough to cause convection inside the jar when it's so thin, especially if you do it in a cold setting.

Mm. Obviously, I'd like to see the setup in person.

Worth noting: a couple of Randi's Project Alpha plants used this as their example of telekenesis, and the scientists ate it up.

I'm wondering why it need to be sat on a book!
