Bush. Interrogation.

How can someone be against "terrorist interrogation"? Are you a terrorist sympathizer?

In the Bush Whitehouse Newspeak "terrorist interrogation" = "torture".

Congress needs to take the rap for this one. They made a big show of "standing up to Bush" on this issue, but then the bill sails through.

If Republicans are trying to distance themselves from Bush, this is a very bad way of showing it. Or maybe they are only saying that to get re-elected. Surely they couldn't be that hypocritical.

Speaking of newspeak, so what is the best word to describe the situation? I vote for "heartbreaking."
