Cont: Musk, SpaceX and future of Tesla II

For those who can't be bothered to watch the video, it was taken during an "Autonomy Event" in Miami. The robot falls over backwards but, just before it does so, it raises both hands to its head mirroring the movements of its tele operator taking off their headset.

Optimus is still smoke and mirrors.
The way it busts open a water bottle on the way down is quite the exclamation point

I can't imagine how people are still investing in this company like it's at the forefront. Musk's nonsense gets repeatedly exposed and people still think he's some genius leader.

Yeah I’d only caught a fragment and thought it was from his last robotaxi launch when they were forced to admit they were using teleoperators. Seems like not much has changed. Still I am sure there will be hundreds of thousands of these robots by the end of the year! ;)

Is SpaceX still blowing up rockets on schedule? Haven't heard of one for a while.
SpaceX has had nine successful missions since the beginning of the month, and they've got another five coming up in the next week. No upcoming Starship launches are publicly scheduled at this time.

Good for them. I guess success doesn't make the news like a good explosion.

They are supposed to be moving to block three. It's going to be a lot of totally new engine technology and infrastructure to support it as well as a significant increase in size. That will take many successful missions to iron out the kinks.

The last one they actually launched went OK. Still didn't get into orbit but it did survive long enough for them to do the scheduled tests.

The next one is delayed because the booster had an event whilst being pressure tested. It turned out it couldn't handle the pressure, catastrophically.

This is the state of SpaceX: one part launches rockets several times a week with almost no mishaps; the other part can't even build a pressure vessel to specification.
