Merged Charlie Kirk shot at Utah Valley University event. / Charlie Kirk Shot And Killed

Any links or sources which might help me understand how Nazism relates to the assassination of Kirk?
Everything he said and did is right out of the Nazi party playbook.
Read up on their rise to power in the 30s.

The first three episodes of the BBC documentary series Rise Of the Nazis is a good place to start, followed by a biography of Himmler, one specifically concentrating on his early years with the Party.

I, with maybe one or two other members (I am an optimist), would again long for a little "prison" sitting in the northern Alaska wilderness containing a small number of canned goods where the shooter Stephen Miller and Donald Trump could be dropped off to rot.
Now you're getting it! Live-stream the "who will eat who first" hunger games! Pay Per Chew!

Seriously, whoever shot Kirk is a murderer who needs to be tried and convicted and dealt with by the appropriate laws. There's never been any question about that.

But it also doesn't negate the fact Kirk, when he was alive, was a D-grade, lying, self-serving, publicity-hungry, edgelord-try-hard, Christian-nationalist ◊◊◊◊-stirrer. He was never the shiny MAGA martyr as being portrayed.

MAGA Pastor Says ‘God Allowed’ Satan to Kill Charlie Kirk Over Israel Criticism

The recent killing of right-wing political influencer Charlie Kirk has sparked a storm of speculation, grief, and outrage across the conservative world. But among the swirl of conspiracy theories, one voice has stood out for both its conviction and controversy: MAGA-aligned pastor Shane Vaughn, who says Kirk’s death was not random—but divine intervention.

Vaughn, a Mississippi-based pastor and co-founder of First Harvest Ministries, went public with his theory during a recent episode of his podcast. According to Vaughn, God “allowed” Satan to kill Charlie Kirk, and it wasn’t just some theological metaphor. He believes it was a deliberate spiritual decision—to protect Israel’s image.

“They were turning Charlie against God’s chosen people, and God said ‘no, not today, you’re too pure and you have too much influence, so I’m going to bring you before Satan, I’m going to let your testimony for the rest of your life be all the positive things you have said about Israel that’s on record,’” Vaughn said.

You can watch this idiot, but try not to get sucked into his "Black Hole of StupidTM"

It's the conspiracy theory mindset applied to theology and current events. Wild.

Is there a vaccine for mad right-wing copium?

A board of an organization of U.S. Air Force Academy graduates ended up not voting Friday on whether to bestow slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk with an honorary degree and honorary membership in the academy’s alumni association after both motions were withdrawn.

The measures, introduced by a board member, were removed from the board’s meeting agenda, the Association of Graduates said in a statement late Friday, based on feedback from people affiliated with the academy on the idea of recognizing Kirk.

Since Wednesday, “several hundred Air Force Academy graduates, parents and family members” contacted the association to “share their perspectives” on the two motions, the statement said.

The board, which serves as the association’s governing body, “took the thoughtful feedback received into account,” the statement continued, and withdrew the motions concerning Kirk.

“We are grateful to all who have taken the time to reach out by phone and email, and to those who attended” the meeting to share their views.”

I would not expect to hear Nazis complaining about Islam (given their alliance with the Grand Mufti) nor about slitting the throat of America (given the state of war). They would like the part about rejecting feminism, though that isn't exactly what makes them distinctive.

Perhaps you are not trying to paint Kirk as a Nazi in an attempt to make his death seem more justifiable, though.

Perhaps instead you just wanted us to know that he had a lot of terrible ideas which in no way distinguish him from the MAGA activists who are still breathing.
The difference between Fascism and Nazism is the extreme eugenicist racism of Nazism. Nazism believed in racial purity, and the superiority of one race over another, this is not an intrinsic belief of Fascism. This is why although some fundamental Islamist groups may be regarded as Fascist it is wrong to call them Nazi, Islam in its attitude to race is the opposite of the Nazi view. A Jew could convert to Islam and would be regarded as a true Muslim. A Jew could not convert to Nazism and become Aryan.

The question to ask here is did Kirk hold a view that one race is superior to other races, that one race is genetically superior and that race mixing is wrong. If so then he is espousing Nazi ideology.
