Well, I still don't think he's smart enough or well educated enough to actually be a fascist, but the difference between what he is, and fascism is not of much note. A distinction without difference.
I still largely object to the use of the term on account of:
A. There are other bad things and authoritarians than fascists. He is far more like Chavez than Mussolini.
B. It's pointless to call him a fascist as fascist has just been an ad hom since about 1948. Much like commie, I mostly just role my eyes when folks use the term.
ETA: He's surrounded by folks that are legitimately called fascists; the Catholic Integralists (essentially phalangists) and Common Good "Conservatives".
