Trump's Second Term

Here we go:
Trump has announced that his administration is preparing to declare a national emergency and plans to use the military to implement a mass deportation program.

The Party is passing legislation to outlaw pro-choice speech. They are passing laws in Texas to make websites illegal. I've been assured, though, that it isn't fascism....
Links to reputable news outlets would be nice.

He seems to be assembling an all sex offender line-up. With him leading off.

Party of christian/familyvalues. Party of law and order.

What a ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ joke. And people fell for this crap.
But they're not stupid. Oh, no....we can't say that!

Well, Musk made a great fuss about protecting free speech when he bought Twitter, so I'm confident he'll strongly object to the idea of the government suppressing pro-choice speech. No doubt he'll use his influence to put a stop to these sorts of laws.

Right?
of course not, he's more worried about the real censorship. did you know that in america every 40 seconds a trans forces a one person to lose their microsoft news comment account for harassment, and no one talks about it

The Military is not happy about this. And when this goes bad,,and it will, they KNow Dnnie will hang them out to dry.

I just had a very, very hard conversation with a local friend/ customer. ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ brutal talk. What will come of our friends in the states and of my status here in Guate, We are both terrified. I dunno......

I keep hoping Joe's got one more trick up his sleeve still, but I really think we're stuck with Trump taking office ...

Let me guess: You think it's Trump who is the threat to democracy.

I think most people would agree that someone who tried to bully and browbeat a governor into falsifying his state's election results, and then instructed a mob to march on the Capitol in an attempt to prevent the peaceful transition of power to his duly elected successor, was a threat to democracy. It's hard to imagine what more anyone could do to justify that description.

Mikel hopes that Biden can do Trump one better: "I keep hoping Joe's got one more trick up his sleeve still, but I really think we're stuck with Trump taking office ..."

From my Australian friend:
"Third world countries often have very little in the way of regulatory authorities.
They often have a lot of building collapses, fires, health problems and disastrous environmental issues..."

That is where we are headed. Musk will be in his plane headed to DC to slash nuclear waste programs. Meanwhile Ramaswamy has scrapped the FAA. The plane can't land. Musk has to go back to Texas and land at a ranch where a billionire has a private strip.
The FAA has to do a lot more than just manage commercial flights. There are a mind boggling amount of private flights as well. IIRC the FAA funding is mostly subsidised by the taxpayers.

It's fine to do a stupid thing.
Question is: will you learn and correct, or double down?

Saying that voters are not stupid means you don't think they should or can do better.
