There are millions who disagree with you, including me. I voted for her and would do so again.

I voted for her, she was still a terrible candidate without much charisma and way too much baggage. You can argue the baggage was undeserved, much of it was but not all of it, but it was still there and the Dems knew it. They never took Trump seriously until it was too late and it was her turn. There are millions who disagree with me but, they're all partisans. Compare that to Obama and her Husband, most republicans at least acknowledge their charisma and charm.

She's held one elected office, senator from NY as a Dem.

I hope not, but if Biden died before Nov 22, 2023, she would have at least as much time in office as Johnson did, i.e. to make as impression as president. I have no idea what kind of impression he made as a president.

Normally I'd consider these kinds of questions too spurious, but considering the geriatric nature of both the candidates it's a wild card worth considering. Isn't it fun having people one foot in the grave running our government? How exciting that so much hinges on decrepit people continuing to outperform the actuarial tables.

Trump is on the banana peel. Biden is fairly healthy, especially for his age, so unlikely to bite it unless there is an assassination. Biden also has Harris, while suffering poor visibility, is a capable contingency president as she has been working a tag team with Biden.

This is unfortunately wishful thinking. Trump could beat either Biden or Harris but probably not most other possible Dem Candidates. Whitmer would almost certainly beat Trump, Newsom probably could. The problem is that the Dems can't see how unpopular Harris and Biden are. Biden should step out for the good of American and his party. Hard to do though.

Most of the other Reps could probably beat most of the potential Dems in the general, they just can't get through the primary.

Biden is 77, average life expectancy of an American male is 74. Healthy for his age..... means he's about to die in his sleep.

I'm a firm believer that Trump won in 2016 in no small part because his opponent was Hillary Clinton, probably one of least charismatic and likable politicians currently alive.

In a bit of echo, I suspect Biden will win because Trump will be his opponent. It's been a real slog of people trying to figure out who the least terrible candidate is, and there's no sign of that changing.

It's a bit unfair to Biden as I think he's done reasonably well considering the circumstances, but our system is designed to be ineffective and it's inevitable that an incumbent President will get reputational damage because of that.

Biden is not reality TV fodder, something the USA got used to for good or ill with the Trump presidency. When he must be in front of the public, Biden discusses national business and does so well. He has also done a run-around of the Republican Party more than once as well.

Despite their efforts to the contrary, Republicans can't find scandal on Biden. Instead, they attempt to use Hunter Biden's addiction and potential misdeeds for sound bites, even though Hunter has no political role. Even Biden's dogs have been shaken down for scandal sound bites.

Anti bernie comments were often regarding age among other things of course. Age is really only a liability for the folks in the middle that mostly don't pay attention until the week of the election.

Basically a wash when it comes to Biden V Trump but biden does have more of an aura of oldness.

This is unconnected to reality. Look at his recent showing in Hawaii. Biden has also done fewer public appearances than any president in my life time and rumors are he works from 10am to 4pm.

I will vote for him but this sort of lack of awareness will not help his cause. Republicans, non-binary voters, and not very partisan Dems read this and think, "are you crazy?"

He's a senile old liar who I will vote for because the option is a old liar who's and awful human and threat to democracy, I'm not going to pretend Biden isn't a senile old liar though.
