Straight up gangsta monkey, sporting the Los Santos Ballas colors.

Maybe it started out as a pimple on his Ballas?

Here's #1 daughter graduating high school last summer. She'll likely be tagging along even though we couldn't afford to sign her up for TAM.

Here's #2 daughter...

it's from 2003 when she was a girl scout. It was taken at the dedication ceremony for the Prince William County 9/11 memorial. April had a couple kids from her elementary school lose their parents at the Pentagon. A somber event, but this pic; taken by a news photographer was featured in the WashingtonPost Sept 13, 2003...and later was among the "best of the year" pics for the Prince William section of the WaPo for 2003. I do wish I had a more recent digital pic of her since she really hates it when I show folks that one....but I can't help it...it was cool to see my kid on the front page of WaPo on a slow news day! ;)

Wow, Rick, she is lovely!! I see why you fear!!

thanks!
She's a good kid...a good head on her shoulders...so I shouldn't fear and yet still do. I'm still not 100% sure she'll get off work and make the trip but I know she really wants to go to TAM if only to view it from the sidelines. She's a pretty strong atheist and doesn't know too many others. Hell I even tried to argue her our of her atheism since it seems to me that the only purely logical position is one of agnosticism...but that's another story...suffice to say she's a strong-minded kid.

Leave her to her atheism! Or did you also talk her into not discounting Santa and Gandalf for the same reason?

Lovely looking daughters you have there, like younger Scarlett Yohanssons.

I just knew I'd get someone to pipe up! ;) I guess atheism is alright...I just don't much care for anyone who has "the truth"(tm) and will loudly proclaim it. Reminds me too much of the old religion. Agnostics tend to be a bit more circumspect while saying basically the same damned thing. My personal favorite idea of a "god" is Asimov's Cosmic AC. If you've never read his short story called "The Final Question" I'd recommend it. Asimov was not only a great storyteller; he was a great thinker as well.

So TK; have you thought much on the idea of seeking out an "open mic night"? I think I've talked my wife into it...

I hereby cast my vote that doesn't count at all that she gets to come to TAM anyway.

make her talk to me, ill convince her to be agnostic at least to some god-concepts.

huh? alterior motive? i resent that!

OK, here's an old picture of me from '96. Oh, and I just realized that there are TWO TAM attendees in this picture..though one doesn't post here.

Jeff I asked Pool Boy if he had any fun photos from when they did "team building" stuff at work....

this one seems like it was a lot of fun, and featured firearms too.

do Europeans have these fun team building games?

That's OK. She can stay in my room. Tell her there's a free bar.

With a father like that, I doubt it will be the last time....
