De Niro Sued For Abusing Employee And Being An All-Round ********

I don't care for him or his acting but her claim could be total bullcrap for all I know. "He swore at me on the phone", sexually charged, unwanted contact.

The article mentions no real details and no laws broken so pffft - someone accuses you I guess you may as well consider yourself guilty.

Suing for 12 million. I'll make an early prediction that this doesn't get far. You never know but that's just my gut instinct on this one.
 
If this lawsuit dropped five years ago, most of the people celebrating it would describe the allegations as overly-sensitive, liberal-feminist, politically correct fascism (from a lazy, do-nothing employee).

It should be noted that this is a counter-suit in response to De Niro’s Company suing Robinson for embezzlement, after she resigned suddenly and, by the looks of it, “under a cloud”.

ISF is begging to look more and more like Facebook with triggered, knee-jerk reactions to click-bait without first looking into the story in an OP.

I could be wrong about De Niro, but at least I checked the background before declaring him to be the next Harvey Weinstein.

It sounds ridiculous. I do not see that she was abused. Who has never had a boss that used swear words? And, I don't have any interest in his life, beyond liking some of his movies.

Probably. He did look like a total moron doing it I think, and I don't like him partially for stooping to that low of a level level, but it doesn't affect my feeling in this matter. Sounds like a BS case to me, so far.

Try to imagine recordings of, let me think ... Donald Trump speaking to a female aid the same way De Niro did to this woman.
