I have a Westell 327 Interlink gateway and I was wondering if someone has a palmpilot, can it automatically link up to a palm pilot or do you have to download something. Since at Starbucks, I can do this without downloading, can my Modem do the same thing at my house? My Westell 327 Interlink gateway has an antenna on it. Is that antenna used for a wi-fi palm pilot?

If that Westell router is actually a wireless router (I wasn't able to find anything on a Westell 327 Interlink Gateway), then yes. :) Try using your PDA to scan for a wireless network. You can also use a computer that's connected to the router (wired or wireless) and visit http://192.168.1.1 (I think sometimes it's also http://192.168.0.1 - see your manual) and edit the wireless settings of your router (i.e. setting up encryption to keep your greedy neighbors :p from using your internet connection). If it asks for a username and password and you haven't set one yet, try "admin" and "admin"; no quotes.

The link below is to the manual for the Westell 327W Versalink Gateway.

It's a .pdf file so it may be a bit large. You have been warned.

Disclaimer: if you [Rule 8] up your connection, it's your own fault :p (Edit: and NickW's :p)
