Yes, if.

Despite everything that's happened in the past week, especially with respect to the Khan family, Trump's support is still in the mid-40's percent and within shouting distance of Hillary.

We're still months from the election and there's "many a slip twixt crouch and leap". IMO it would only take a (yet another) scandal to hit the Hillary campaign for Trump to be right back in the game.

Indeed, the half-life of any Trump-related story is super-short and so it's feasible that this will go the way of the other Trump outrages and be forgotten by everyone who isn't already anti-Trump.

I'd love Hillary to be home and dry but there's a long, long way to go yet.

But his support is no longer in the mid-40s. It's in the low 40s, but only if you consider it a two candidate race. If you factor in the Libertarians and Greens, his average across all polls is only 38.

Hey, why not a March on Rome? Heck, Donald can afford a few thousand black shirts and billy clubs. And a tanker loaded with castor oil.

Well? Huey Long gave it some thought.

40% of the American people would vote for Mikcey Mouse if he ran on the GOP ticket.
To be fair, another 40% would vote for Mickey Mouse if he ran on the Democratic ticket.
It is the undecided 20% that the election centers around, and IMHO Trump is rapidly losing htem.

Here's what I would like...

Drumph comes out for his concession speech. Admits "I'm glad I lost. Seriously, why did anyone vote for me? You should have known my campaign was a sham when I said I could shoot someone and still get elected. I did everything I could to make me totally un-electable. At least now you can tell who the idiots are in America by the ones who supported me."

After which, he returns to his home planet, but dies on the way there.

he'll scream fraud, appear on Alex Jones and other RW radio shows for weeks on end, and try to find a way, legal or not, to keep Mrs. Clinton from assuming office.

and then he'll shot himself in Belgium while standing at the grave of his mistress.

I had to vote Planet X because I think he's going to do all these things (except be gracious).

Within the course of a week, he'll whine, complain about the press, call the election rigged, threaten to file suit against various people and groups, claim victory, pretend he's won a great triumph by reforming the Republican party, whine some more, and conduct his business.

In fact, I will predict the following: 1) Win or lose, he never puts his business interests into a blind trust; and 2) he forms some sort of shadow presidency and calls press conferences every time Clinton does anything.

I picture him found dead weeks later, facedown in an inflatable pool full of pistachio pudding. I don't think that will happen, mind you. I just like to picture it.

I prefer in a trough of pig slops. With the pigs refusing to eat his body.

I said this in another thread but I really want him to walk out and say, "The Aristocrats," as his concession speech and nothing else. That's the only thing that would make this debasement of democracy worth it.

You did, I saw it. I would watch it and laugh my butt off since they would have to censor it all OR have to run it all because of it's technical importance re: history.

Very naughty person. I am sorry he was not fed slowly to his pigs. 25 years is pathetic for such an animal.
