I'd swear we had a discussion about HMS Glorious a few years ago here. I read one of the sailor's account of the sinking, and eventual rescue, a few years ago.

Yes, that's the idiocy to which I was referring. Not even remotely ready to launch an aircraft. The captain, if I recall correctly, was a career submariner.
