Curtis Allgier, a white supremacist prisoner who was taken to the hospital complaining of lower back pain stole a correctional officer’s gun on Monday and killed him, authorities said. He then led police on a high-speed chase in a stolen sport utility vehicle before his capture at a fast-food restaurant. Authorities said he could face the death penalty. The officer who was killed was identified as Stephen Anderson, 60, a 22-year corrections employee.

I wondered about the "515" under his right eye.

  • Werner Henke was one of Germany's top U-boat aces of World War II -- he commanded U-515. He had been labeled "War Criminal No. 1" in an Allied radio broadcast. After his capture, believing himself about to be handed over to the British and hanged, Henke threw himself against the barbed wire of the stockade in which he was being held -- and was killed by the guard tower's bullets.

Ya' know, my first reaction upon seeing this wasn't over how many tattoos he had, or what they said...

...it was looking at the tattoos in his ears, and thinking, "Man, that would've hurt". I guess I'm just not cut out to be a hardcore skinhead racist murderer.
 
It's a minor thing, I know, but it is kind of odd he has "skin head" tatooed on his forehead, yet he isn't.

I guess some people are a bit self conscious to actually go as far as shaving all their hair off. :faint:

I figured it out! Stared at it forever, my first impression was also that it said "harebreed". Then, when I was doing something else and looked at it out of the corner of my eye, it all became clear:

It says, "Nosebleed" (in really, really bad calligraphic style)
 
How does someone get this f***** up? Him and I are the same age, he's obviously had a very different life.

While I wouldn't be even close to expressing sympathy for him or his beliefs, to do something like that to your face must surely be an indication of an extreme amount of self loathing.
 
I don't understand what the guard was doing with a gun. In a melee fight, it's not going to do much good. If they considered him a dangerous prisoner, they should have dad another guard well out of arm's reach with a gun.
