In a similar vein.....Just walked in the house where an anti-abortion (or so I presume) commercial was running.

A young black woman is complaining that abortion has "killed more of our people" than any other cause during whatever period she was blathering about.

Would the birth of large numbers of unwanted children improve the lot of the black population?
Wasn't much of the "welfare reform" bitterness fought over this very sort of thing? We might well imagine that there would be a bit of public and legislative annoyance at a whole new class of "welfare mothers".

Why is it that the folks that are so violently against abortion at the same time against contraception, sex-education, and the like?
