I am IT manager for a medium sized company. I have a small group of users who spend most of their time travelling to various parts of the world on business. In the past I have tried a number of remote access schemes, all of which work to some degree but nothing works ALL the time in ANY country.
My latest crackpot idea is to equip them with wireless network adapters to enable them to at least get access in many airports and hotels worldwide. Once again though it seems that there isn't a worldwide roaming hotspot supplier. I am thinking of subscribing to BT's Openzone network but it doesn't appear to cover many countries in which we do business (China, Thailand, Mexico for example). I know these countries have wireless hotpots but I need a 'one subscription fits all' solution because I am not going to keep track of 50 different worldwide contracts.
Can I get peoples thoughts and experiences on this one please?
