Roy's Rock offered to Congress
So basically, putting in the courthouse wasn't unconstitutional enough.

Moore, who was suspended for refusing to comply with a federal court order, has declined offers to display the monument in Mississippi and North Carolina.

"By its very action as the elected representatives of the American people, Congress would restore the balance of power between the branches of government and would send a message to federal courts that we, the people, have the final word on our inalienable right to acknowledge God," Moore said in a statement.
Until the federal courts make them take it out, too. I'm beginning to agree with the person (sorry, I forget who it was) who said that Moore is the best friend the secularists in this country have ever had. He's going to get all sorts of high-level federal precedent set over this one.

edited to add: RIP Danny Kaye.
Quite. The fundies are still flailing around, but they will eventually see that states' rights is the only way to go. The strategy of gaining the White House has given them Reagan, Bush I and Bush II and they still haven't got prayers in school. When Bush II loses (there, I've said it) they'll see the light of secession. This rock could still become iconic. But now he is sending it to congreff, where a states rights argument no longer applies. So what is going to be his justification now?
