• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

Hillery could blow it by making one wrong eye move, while trump gets away with lying, BSing, blustering, bragging, insulting, gesticulating, doubletalking and self references.

Check them off. Make a bingo card.

I saw that but I thought a serious neutral thread would be better.

I reported it for merging. My thread is as neutral as yours as to the candidates, but much superior in embedding the event into contemporary and local environments. It's also quite naive to think that one of the candidates has to win while the other has to lose, isn't it? See scenarios over there. Also, yours has no Planet X option so it is invalid anyway.

Obviously Trumps low bar will help him greatly. It's already been firmly established that he can say absolutely anything and it will not effect him. I think Trump wins from the debate, but not necessarily the debate.

I told my family that if I didn't have school tomorrow I'd play a drinking game. Every time one of them lies, or says something that flies in the face of reality I would take a sip of my drink. I figured if I took just one sip I could make it more than 4 minutes before dying.

Alas, I have school tomorrow morning and Principles of Network Security is way more fun.

I think this thread encourages conversation a bit better. Also, in debates there is generally one side that does seem to "win". The South Park episode, and it's hilariousness aside, it's tough to want to join a thread with douche and turd in the title, and take it serious.

If mods read this I would prefer the threads to stay separate. We always have a ton of the threads about the same issue. We have at least 20 on gun stuff, more than a few on Hillary that imply it's "all inclusive" to Hillary issues, and the same with Trump.

Captain Swoop's thread is a duplicate of mine on the same topic, and should be merged according to the usual practice (which would likely leave my superior poll, with is an extra benefit). If this doesn't happen, after the event you'll all be sorry about it, mark my words, saying that my framing was obviously the better one.

I'm trying to think of a Carnac the Magnificent type of response since the debate hasn't happened yet.

Another reason for my thread. We have two failures in the poll here (1 Trump and 1 Clinton, nobody can know at this time), while we have three correct answers (Planet X) over there, with multiple choices awaiting. Seriously, Captain Swoop, you are unreasonable and dogmatic in your stated boycott. I on the other hand will participate in your thread if it prevails against common sense, general understanding, quality control and the basic rules of fairness as established by usual forum management practices.

I'm not even watching. Pretty much Clinton would have to get caught with a live girl AND a dead boy at this point for me not to vote for her. Even then, I'd wait to see if the boy's death was ruled accidental. I'm no fan of Clinton but she's far preferable to electing Putin's dog.

Jesus.

Last chance for a thread frame that could (after the fact) attract some grandness to this place, team, or we'll stick to Captain Swoop's conformism. I'm making the sandwiches already. See you later.

CNN stream seams to be here but it doesn't work for me. I'll watch there if they're not trying to get this translated by folks whose English is worse than mine (happens frequently).

Funny, the right has been accusing her of both those things for a long time.

I'm not watching either.
