Well, the woos knew...

I got an email earlier from the quackery group. It was a typical homeopathic website espousing the cure for cancer that "they" don't want you to know about. It was same-old, same-old, except for they had "FDA approved" all over the place. I became curious about what stunt they pulled to get FDA approval for their quackery. Well, it turns out that FDA means "Fighting Diseases Association" and not THE FDA. Hmmmm.....

Then, I wondered why they would even lie about FDA approval when they have such disdain for traditional medicine to begin with? Maybe to suck more people in? New blood?

I wish they could fine the site or something...but they DO say that their FDA is not THE FDA, so it isn't *exactly* fraud. Well, that part anyway...

Here's the link: http://www.cancercure.org

I just heard some news about those guys being in hot water finally.

U.S. prosecutors charge Boca company that runs cancercure.org
The Food and Drug Administration not only never approved the drugs Cancer Control, Migraine Miracle and Flu Fighter, but the Boca Raton company advertising them never filed new drug applications seeking FDA approval for any of their products, according to the request signed by U.S. Attorney R. Alexander Acosta.

More than 10,000 people cured and cancer free, thanks to this new medicine. Clinically proven effective in curing and reversing stage 4 terminal cancer cases.

Successfully cures cancer patients whose radiation, surgery, and chemotherapy treatments have been ineffective.

Aarrgghhh! I don't just want these people shut down. I want hordes of cancer patients and their families to go there and dismantle the place and the people who run it bit by bit!

:a2::brk::curse

I wonder if many would be willing to admit they were taken to the cleaners? It's hard to eat crow.

Otherwise, I don't understand why more people aren't angry and doing something about it.

I've just heard of a similar website run by a "gambler"...selling Anvirzel as a cancer cure. http://www.anvirzel.com/default1.htm

I hear they run out of San Antonio, Texas. They have a Spanish version of their website.

This is just as bad as the "Cancer Research" scammers in Canada that sell you junk after "analyzing your blood". http://www.ccrg.com/homepage.htm

Worst thing, people mistake these con artists as legitimate researchers and send them donation dollars too.

It's maddening to see these people get away with so much and get rich too.
