Merged Whitney Houston dead

Just saw this on Facebook.

When Michael Jackson died my work went crazy (I work at MTV) and we had to rejig the schedules and put in loads of Michael Jackson videos.

The question I need to know is, do you think Whitney will be considered important enough for us to do the same? Or can I relax for the rest of this night shift?

Which doesn't matter, either.

The whole 'celebrity' nonsense has never meant anything to me.

None of them made any music that I enjoy or value.

Oh, then I could see why it wouldn't matter to you. But millions of people aside from yourself enjoyed their music and it would matter to them that they are gone especially at a relatively young age.

Anyway, I shall put you in the same category as people who like to announce that they don't own a tv.

48 is no age to die. (I am 48).

You don't have to be interested in her music or her as a woman to be sad that a talented person has died young, or to recognise that her death has an impact on others.
