What sources do you use to get your news (USAToday, CNN, New York Post, etc)? What is your preferred vehicle for getting your news (newspaper, televised news program, online, etc)? Why do you prefer this/these news source(s) (it's local, it's less bias than other papers, it has some particular journalist I like, etc.)?

We had a recent thread on this, but I don't know where it ended up.

I watch Fox, read leftist papers online (Socialist Worker) and websites (MediaMatters), and gay radical blogs (Queerty).

I prefer slanted stories. Reading through debate and different stories on the different sides gives a better picture than reading a centrist article, IMO. Though sometimes you want a just the facts approach, and then I go for the BBC.

Google news. It's free, fast and updates quickly.

I don't care very much for blogs, so I seldom read them.

Like Odin, I have two crows that fly out over the world and return to tell me what's happening. Thus I know that Hroljfr the frost giant has forged mighty arms to use against the Aesir, I know that Brisid the Fair has been kidnapped by the dwarfs, and I know that J-Lo and Courtney Love are planning a reality show together where they tour the country in disguise to interact with regular people, all of whom assume they are whores for some reason.
