If a lot of things here on Earth that make us feel good and give pleasure is considered bad, what would make going to heaven so good?
Not suffering for all eternity might be a good reason, but is that the only reason?
If lust and longing are bad, that pretty much means no wild nights of unbridled whoopie in heaven. That doesn't sound like heaven to me.
Do you spend all of eternity praising god? That's the big reward for a life of servitude? "For being such a good follower, you get to praise god. Isn't that nice?"
Just a few things I need to get off my chest. Tried to ask several true-believer friends, but all I got was the standard "You'll find out when its your time" answer.
Sorry for starting a silly thread, I'll go back to lurking and leave the threads to the more experienced.
