I've been unable to browse the internet from my phone for the last two hours. Every website i try to visit redirects to a site called novarro, which intercepts my requests, and doesn't allow me to see all of the page. Since i can't google properly, and i have no other way of finding out any info about this, can anyone help? It's ruining my 3g experience. I'm in the uk, using a nokia 5800 on a vodafone 3g contract. Thanks in advance.

There is a company called novarra

from their website.

Vision™ Browser & Internet Mobility™ Platform

Novarra delivers the leading mobile web experience for operators, mobile device manufacturers and internet brands. With the Vision™ mobile browser and platform, a fast, rich and full experience is possible on any mobile device - from laptops and smartphones to mass-market feature phones and emerging market handsets. A PC-like experience including web, multimedia, RSS, widgets and contextual advertising enriches the offering to drive usage, uptake and revenue.

What is probably happening is that the DNS (Domain Name Server) cannot be reached so the IP address cannot be resolved and the web browser from novarra redirects to their page.

Just in case anyone ever finds themselves in a similar situation, by far the best solution is to download opera mini and use that as your web browsing application. You get a much faster web service, and without a third party intercepting all of your requests.

It's also a much better ui.
