• Quick note - the problem with Youtube videos not embedding on the forum appears to have been fixed, thanks to ZiprHead. If you do still see problems let me know.

What about this crop circle?

1. It is not a circle.

2. It is demonstrably real.

3. Whenever someone has the time and inclination.

4. Earth.

You're welcome.

Thank you for nothing! And there is a circle in it! :p

Dont know why you need to be an idiot, but thats your problem... not mine.

You did not answer my questions either!

WOW, your update is worth NOTHING.. other than to make you look like a fool!

I think he did answer your questions--though somewhat flippantly, which is pretty much all they deserve.

I'll answer a little more seriously: crop circles are almost all "real" in that they are patterns of smashed over plants in fields (as opposed to photoshopped photos). They are all "fake" in that they were not made by ETs. It is unreasonable to think otherwise primarily due to the principle of parsimony. Also, we know exactly who and how many of them were done (by humans), so an explanation that raises more questions than it purports to answer is not necessary.

So, for a reasonable minded person, it is not necessary to debunk every example of crop circles to accept the conclusion that they were made by humans.

Some other answers to your specific questions: it was made in August of 2002 just west of Winchester. Some more details here.

Count the circles in this sentence. Is it a circle?

I don't need to be an idiot and it's not a problem. It's my hobby. Deal.

Ooh my wordy lordy, yes I did. Specifically and in the order you asked them.

I even numbered them and everything.

WOW, your update is worth NOTHING.. other than to make you look like a fool!

Which then? You can't choose both 'NOTHING' and 'to make you look like a fool!'.

Mutual exclusivity and all, dear.

Personally, I think the second one is more accurate, but I may be biased.

You know, it occurs to me that aliens are total dicks. We have a serious problem on this planet with making sure everybody has food to eat, and these jokers swoop in and completely ruin vast amounts of harvest-worthy grain so they can play Etch-a-Sketch.

Dicks.

Don't know why I am replying to someone who calls my dear friend Akhenaten an idiot but it took me about 5 minutes to find out that the circle was made on August 15, 2002 at Crabwood, Hampshire UK.

I just looked at the source info that appears on the picture when you right click on it. Went to the source site. Extracted the location info and entered that in Google along with the words "crop circle". You get lots of hits.

The best evidence is that it was made, as all crop circles are made, by joking humans. Otherwise, you'll have to believe that aliens use helicopters, English and ASCII code.

YMMY. :th:

It took me a lot less than 5 minutes (like maybe 10 seconds). I just googled "ET face crop circle".

Yeah, and considering how advanced their technology must be to transverse galaxies and all that you'd think they could do something a little more impressive... like granite circles or something.

Oh I can answer that. Mother Earth or Gaia is female, and the sky gods (which is what ETs really are in the UFO-religion) are usually male. So crop circles are just evidence of foreplay.

Or the wet spot.

Anybody know if this is proven fake? When it is made, and where?

This is the 'alien face' crop circle. It appeared in 2002, Aug 15th. Crabwood Farm, Hampshire UK.

It is sometimes mistaken for a Chilbolton formation because of the binary image, and because Chilbolton is also nearby in Hampshire. However, this one was not at the telescope site, and the binary is interpreted ASCII. Hardly a universal language.

This cereologist has a review: [The 2002 'Alien Face' Formation]

As for debunking: there's no way to debunk a crop circle that satisfies believers.
