Volvo's new paranormal ad

At some point, somewhere, this ad will be hailed as evidence of the paranormal.
 
The swedish word in the ad is .... "hitta på" that is, make up

I always enjoy IKEA advertisments, I find I enjoy Swedish humour.

No, I don't think so, Claus. You of all people should be aware of the Danish connection: Andernas Makt!!!

Sweden's commercial media are not above sending Danish junk TV-shows full of psychics and necromancers.
This ad, however, is an obvious parody, and somewhere out there the psychics are probably blaming Volvo for exploiting the recognition that they have achieved with Danish TV-shows like Åndernes Magt, Den Sjette Sans, På rejse med sjælen etc.
Let us hope that the Swedes will be spared the rest of this superstitious crap.
Maybe Vitnir can tell us how Andernas Makt was received hinsidan!?
(This may indicate a difference between the two sister nations: At google.dk you get 2,290 hits if you search for "åndernes magt". You get only three if you search for "andernas makt" - but maybe I just don't spell it right ...)

What "two sister nations"? Considering that Denmark is meeting Sweden in an all-out decisive game next Tuesday, such a proclamation from you could easily be considered high treason. Watch what you say!!! :D

The Swedes had a Hyundai ad a few years ago: A middle-aged Hyundai driver picks up a (very ungrateful) hitchhiking biker. When the driver starts telling the biker about the advantages of his environmentally friendly car, the biker tells him to go f*ck the environment. The driver then rambles on about the benefits of being as much in contact with nature as you possibly can, farting all the time, until the biker is hanging halfway out the window to avoid asphyxiation!

Channel 5 is even importing Andernes makt from denmark, i forced myself to watch half a show. It was gruesome. Otherwise we got Förnimmelse av mord, psychic detectives. Even more horrible.

Yeah, I saw their website. So many programmes, not a single murder case solved.

It is incredibly cruel to the victims' families.

Do you consider the Irish and Enlish as sister people? If you consider Demark and Sweden beeing sister countries, so should also Ireland and England be considered. Doesn't seems right, now does it?
